Bailey's Mom: Video isn’t uploaded to the cloud. The cameras follow movement and you can have a two way conversation. It does everything I had hoped for and does it extremely well.

Park Ridge, IL: First of all, there's no monthly subscription! This is a huge motivator for my buying this.

This is the fifth brand camera I've tried, the others being BLink, Amcrest, D-Link and Bavision. All are meant for interior, nanny-cam type use. I use it on the windowsill, pointing at the path to the front door. I live in a townhome and the HOA does not allow for exterior cameras attached to the building. Lovely.

The other four brands would focus on window reflection rather than activity beyond the window. For the three months I had one camera, not once did it record the mail carrier approaching or leaving. Once another camera recorded the back of an Amazon driver as he was walking away, why not record the approach?

They were all much like that, more useless than useful for my purpose.

The Lorex camera is a bit better, it misses about 50% of the outside activity, but I can scroll through the timeline to randomly search for activity.

My issues are with the app.

The hashmarks in timeline indicate activity. They are yellow and blend in with the white (or powder blue) background. The hashmarks need to be black, dark blue, red, green, purple, any color...

Amazon Customer: I have 4 of these cameras and they work great

Daniel Dario: I recently purchased the Lorex Pan and Tilt Security Camera, and I have been thoroughly impressed with its performance and features. This camera has taken my home security to the next level, providing a comprehensive view of my property and giving me peace of mind.

The pan and tilt functionality of this camera is simply fantastic. I can remotely control the camera’s movement through the Lorex app on my smartphone, allowing me to scan the entire area and focus on any specific spot I want to monitor. The smooth and responsive controls make it easy to adjust the camera’s angle as needed, which is especially useful to keep an eye on different areas around my property.

The video quality is outstanding. The Lorex Pan and Tilt Security Camera captures crystal-clear 1080p HD footage, even in low-light conditions. I was amazed by the clarity and sharpness of the images, which helps in identifying even the smallest details if an incident occurs.

One of the standout features is the built-in two-way audio. This allows me to communicate with visitors or potential intruders from the convenience of my phone. It’s an excellent deterrent and provides an added layer of...

Jennifer: I was actually impressed with this camera. I bought this to check out Lorex products to decide if I wanted to spend the money on a full security camera system. The product is well made and the video looks really good. Just be aware that it needs to be plugged in, so wherever you place it will need an outlet near it. I also really like the private feature. It not only keeps the camera from recording, but also turns the camera so that the lens is hidden.

Now on to the not so good part. I actually bought a couple Lorex products to test and I was sent the wrong color for one of them. That's when I got my first taste of Lorex customer service. Saying it was an awful experience is an understatement. You will never talk to someone in the US. The call center is located in Bogota, Columbia and everyone has a very thick accent. It was very hard for me to understand what was being said (I'm horrible with all accents). Each person I talked to would also tell me a different thing. It was impossible to talk to a manager and I had to put up a huge stink to get one to finally call me and get everything sorted out. Just be aware of the bad customer service if you buy a Lorex product. If you...

Nicolas: I love the fact that you can moove it easily but for a children’s room you can’t really see if their sleeping or not when you have to zoom. Buy 4K or don’t espect perfect zoom.

chan21782003: Honestly, that was the only reason I opted for this camera over any other: I get notifications when it picks up motion, so I can watch in real time if necessary - I don't need cloud access to recordings, so the save-to-SD-card is perfect for me (same reason I went with a Lorex doorbell). It was easy to set up.

Like most cameras, there is a small delay with picking up motion/displaying the notification; and moving the lens is sensitive, so it's easy to overshoot where you're trying to see. Otherwise, no complaints!

Marty: Have been waiting for these to drop in price for awhile so when they dropped to $71.99 from $89.99 for Prime Day I grabbed 2 of them.

Upgraded from amother providers 1080p to 2k and the video quality is significantly better. Easy to setup....had both new cameras up and running in 10 minutes. They compliment my Lorex 2k wi-fi smart deterent W482CAD cameras I have installed outside. Once you feel your way around their home app you won't be disappointed with these cameras.

PROS
Easy setup.
High quality video.
Flexible app controls.

CONS
Short cable between the AC power adapter and camera....about 6 ft. The outdoor cameras come with an additional cable that can be added to the original AC power cable making it significantly longer. If you installed these cameras on the ceiling there is no way the AC power cable would reach a standard wall plug close to the floor.

Cliente de Amazon: Excelente imagen, fácil de instalar y conectar a la red, y con la app, se puede rotar la imagen tanto vertical como horizontalmente.
