Thom AbellThom Abell: I work from home in my guitar repair shop. I have two large dogs, two adult cats and a kitten who live in my home. There's always dog/cat drama going on while I'm down in the shop working. I got three of these cams to keep an eye on the drama while I work. They work great. Easy setup and installation. The night vision works great and battery life is ridiculously long. My only complaints are they can't be accessed on a PC and they make a very audible click when engaged. No biggie but worth mentioning if you're used to the functionality of other cams like the Arlo's which I have 8 of around the property.

Kelly M: I love Blink, yes there may be some glitches that need to be ironed out, but what electronic and more specifically security camera doesn't have something that needs to be ironed out? I've had my system for 2 years, Indoor Blink, Outdoor Blink, Blink MIni, 2 Blink Sync Modules. So many people complain but should also be thankful as Blink gives us an avenue to save money and doesn't demand a subscription and provides homes who couldn't afford the mainstrsM security like ADT, a way to protect ourselves and our homes to feel safe. You can Arm and disarm cameras as a group or as a single, it is just a different setup. Since mine are everywhere, I wanted single arm/disarm. How did I achieve this? Research, Blink offers extensive information regarding their systems and how you can put them to use. Every person with Blink should definitely explore Blink web and app and get familiar as they tell ya how to do majority of the thongs a household wants to accomplish or issue to fix. James Cook: We ordered the 3 pack interior and exterior kits. After opening the box and trying to navigate the install, I boxed everything up until I could find a stress free block of time. The box instructions were minimal. After watching a few YouTube videos, I found the set up to be pretty easy. Set up, configuration, and mounting six cameras was quick and easy. My only suggestion would be for Blink to have links to the set up process so one doesn't have to scour through YouTube videos. In hindsight, configuration was not that difficult.

marktech: I give the Blink camera system a 4 rating as it is a nice system that works well under the right conditions.

The biggest problem with all these camera systems is the documentation is not entirely accurate or complete. The result is purchasing equipment somewhat blindly or finding documentation that says one thing and the device does the opposite. For example, when deleting the 30 day trial version from the Blink app there is a pop up that says it is not possible to restart the trial with remaining days once it is canceled. This is not true. I was trying to understand something and deleted the sync module from the app. When I put it back, there was the trial version with remaining days back in place. In fiddling around, the Trial subscription was put back twice minus days used. This means features we may want to be present aren’t or are implemented as described; indeed, it is these inaccuracies that are causing me to return my Blink system. Below, I will describe.
