Britt B.: We started using this for all our meal prep, easy and quick to cut up veggies and meats and toss them in. Multiple settings for various foods that are easy to configure. Relatively quiet while running and not a lot of excess heat on the counter. All of our meals have been delicious! Love being able to toss the basket in the dishwasher when we’re done. Doesn’t feel like it’s the full 6qts as advertised but haven’t measured it exactly.

H. Schiller Jr.: Everything in the kitchen is a tool. You pay for this stuff, find a place to put it, and dust it off because it doesn't get used often enough to wash it. An air fryer isn't in that category.
I've got the 6 quart. It's big enough for two people. It's used 1 to 3 times a day. It's easier to clean than the alternative. I just wish it had a built-in meat thermometer. I've had this one year, and I've rarely had need for the bigger oven. Stop thinking of it as an air fryer. Its a real convection oven that can hit 400 f. Once I got time and temp down, roast veg's way better, and faster. Never cook steak in it., unless your going to add veg's and call it a roast.

Noralee Burby: I have had some questions regarding how to change out the filters in the air fryers. There are two Instant Brands Vortex 6 quart air fryers. The one that I purchased does NOT have any filters whereas the other model; the PLUS with ODOUREASE does. So before anyone goes poking a screwdriver here or there to see what part can pop off so a filter can be inserted be very SURE that yours is the one that I mentioned above. I spoke with Instant Brands customer service myself this AM and they assured me that the ONLY difference between my unit and the PLUS with ODOUREASE are the filters. Their site has a video showing step by step instructions ")

Jeff J.: This Instant Vortex Plus is a superb air fryer. My wife and I were not sure we "needed" an air fryer. We tossed the idea around many times and always said no. Why have one more thing on the counter? We can use the stove or the oven.

Little did we know how great this air fryer was going to be. I saw it on sale and figured let's grab it and see what it can do. Well, lo and behold, we use it almost every day for something. We make rib eye steaks in 10 minutes and they come out perfectly. No fuss, no muss. No splattering on the stove, etc.

We eat Carnivore/keto so this is good for cooking steaks, pork belly, making hard-boiled eggs in minutes, etc. If you are on the fence, hesitate no longer. This Instant Vortex air fryer will become your best friend in the kitchen.

The Air Fryer Begins with Pre Heating, So There is no Hassle for Selecting Pre Heat Mode Separately as is the Case with Other Brands Air Fryers. Pre Heating Makes it easier to get the desired crunch and texture on the Food/ Snacks that is being prepared.
