Juan Carlos: El producto es muy bueno. Aunque hasta el momento me ha servido para preparación de alimentos ligeros y licuados, lo usaré para otras preparaciones un poco mas para materiales mas espesos. Tiene un buen motor el cual le proporciona suficiente potencia de licuado. El precio de inversión elevado pero el producto lo vale.

Sheldon: I've wanted a Vitamix for quite a while, and cannot be happier with my purchase. It does everything claimed for it, and seems very well made. I make large batches of soup on a regular basis, and have been making smoothies and vegetable juices just about every day since I took delivery of the machine, almost two months at this writing. I've also made nut butter a couple of times, and once or twice a week I make a big batch of almond milk. The machine's used a lot, and it's never missed a beat. The 64oz capacity of the container is appreciated. I would like the option for a stainless steel container though ... not a big fan of plastic. I also like the idea that I can get a smaller container for this machine as there are times when I'd like to take advantage of the benefits of the 32oz container.

A bonus was the good price I got ... a new machine with full warranty for less than a refurbished machine!

While the blender is noisy, it's not as loud as I thought it would be. I'm very happy with this purchase.

Win231: I was hesitant to spend this much on a blender because there are $30.00 blenders out there & I'm no chef. After watching some You Tube demos, I decided it would be worth it because two of my favorite foods would taste better when freshly made - hummus & nut butters. I've used the peanut grinder at "Whole Foods" a couple of times & I noticed the peanut butter tasted much better than store bought. And you don't have to work hard trying to mix it like store-bought nut butters. But it's way too pricey.
I just received the Vitamix today. This model has the shorter, wider jar that fits under cabinets. My house was built in 1954 & it barely fits under my kitchen cabinets with the cap on the jar, but I wouldn't store it that way, anyway. I prefer to allow air to circulate in the jar. It easily fits under my cabinets without the cap.
After cleaning the jar as recommended (which takes a couple of minutes), I made a large batch of hummus, using the recipe in the included book. Even though I forgot to put one of the ingredients (ground cumin) on my shopping list, it was absolutely spectacular - the taste couldn't be better, and I'm very picky...
