NurseKiki: We have this at our facility for our therapist to use on our residents. Its light mode is easy enough for elderly people with frail bodies and can move to a higher mode for younger, more muscley people like our staff. I loved ot so much at.work I had to buy one for home!! My 20 year old daughter came home from college complaining that her back hurt from bowling with friends the night before. I pulled out my Viktor Jurgen Back Massager and she loved it, she didn't want to get up off the bed. It almost put her to sleep. She said it wasn't too hard on her back and didn't hurt. The dual heads were nice because I could go right down her spine and catch the tense muscles on both sides. When she was done she no longer had any knots in her back. She was amazed! And its so light and easy to use i can use it on my own back. Best purchase I've made for myself in a long time!

sunstarssky: I've not even had this 10 months and within 7 months it began working on and off while in use. It would start running slower until it would work only if held a certain way, it rattles inside like parts are fall apart, then all the sudden it started to smell like something was burning. As I moved it around to look at it since it smelled like it was burning somehow, I noticed electric sparks lighting up at the connection area of handle and electrical cord! This a fire hazard, it's dangerous and should be discontinued! I'm reporting to seller because this is made so cheaply that the parts rattle and this sparking is very unsafe and hazardous. Touching the cord at that connection is also extremely hot, I don't see how this was tested or safety cleared!? Strongly suggest purchasing either in a store or American Made when it comes to electrical based items. This is a complete disaster and incredibly unsafe! If you fell asleep while this was in use, that cord connection gets so hot that all it would take is that spark near any clothing for it to catch on fire! Highly recommend purchasing something else.

D. Moore: Husband and I are both over 60 and have back problems including sciatica. We go to the chiropractor who uses a "thumper" machine like this to loosen and relax our muscles before adjusting our spines. At times it does hurt a little, depending on how tight the muscles are, but if you can bear the discomfort for a little time, the adjustment is more effective.

We asked about the "thumper" machine for home and she said it was a good idea. Shopped around, read lots of reviews, and because of the price and high recommendations, we decided to purchase this machine. It works great. We don't see or feel any difference between this low priced machine and the expensive one used by our doctor. For me in particular, I have a lot of tension in my shoulders and between my shoulder blades. Though a bit painful, after a few minutes the relief is quite astonishing.

I would give it 5 stars for "easy to hold" but if you have arthritis is your hand, it can be challenging after about 10 minutes of holding the machine. Still, 10 minutes of "thumping" provides great relief and is well worth the pain in the hand and the money spent.

Andrew: I purchased VIKTOR JURGEN Handheld Back Massager in March 2018. Its got to be the best ever massage product I have ever used and built to last! For the price you pay, I personally, just can't reduce any stars for any of its negatives.

A negative is the rubber bit near the selector comes loose most times using it (happened about 6 months after purchase), but this can be rectified by either gluing it down with superglue or you could just remove it by loosing it and cutting it off? I just haven't been bothered to do either.

Another negative is you are advised to only use it for 15 minutes, and if you have say neck & back pain,it may not be enough time as you'd like? Again this is solved by waiting say half an hour , then use again. This gives the massager enough time to recover another 15 minutes. It's possible to go more than 15 minutes, but I would adhere to the manufacturers instructions. Hence, that's why my massager is still working and going strong!

Some reviewers have said its to powerful or hard/ deep massage? But I love deep massage, so its perfect for me on the highest setting! Its got a slider for low setting position, I probably only use this for...

Der erste Eindruck ist sehr gut. Verarbeitung passt, kein penetranter Geruch feststellbar, alle Teile sind enthalten und das Gerät ist wirklich nicht klein (das Produktbild übertreibt nicht).

Pro:
* stufenlose Regulierung
* Variation der Aufsätze
* nicht extrem laut
* lange Zuleitung

Neutral
* eine kurze deutsch übersetzte Anleitung liegt bei, in welcher die wichtigsten Punkte beschreiben werden

Contra:
* konnte die angepriesene Infrarotheizung nicht finden

Meine Erfahrung:
Das Ding hat Power! Bei der ersten Verwendung würde ich auf den kleinsten Wert stellen, da es sonst für manche schon etwas „unfreundlich“ werden kann. Vermeiden sollte man auch den Kontakt mit Knochen wie z.B. Schulterknochen bzw. Wirbelsäule. Dies merkt man aber auch selbst sobald man da mal angekommen ist.

Fazit:
Und gefällt das Produkt, da es wirklich Kraft...
