Veken 95oz/2.8L Automatic Pet Water Fountain - Perfect for Cats and Dogs

Reece Grissom: The fountain was fairly easy to assemble and worked perfectly from the get-go. My cat was somewhat suspicious of the new water bowl, but quickly became used to it. I like that I only have to change the water every few days and know that the water is clean and relatively fresh since it is being constantly run through a charcoal filter. It is not particularly easy to clean, especially the motor. I couldn't disassemble the impeller, when I cleaned it the first time. I've only had it a couple of weeks and the manufacturer suggests that it be cleaned every 2 weeks. Changing the filter is very easy--just replace it with a new one! The water I use is from my reverse osmosis unit and it probably won't need as much maintenance as I would with the hard water that comes out of the faucet in the area where I live. It is a little awkward to pick up without spilling (somewhat heavy) and dealing with the electrical cord that dangles out of the unit is problematic to a degree. Imluvndabeach: My crazy cat began playing with his metal water bowl for attention. Not the water inside but the bowl. That resulted in him knocking water out of the bowl. A lot of water.

I thought, I’ll solve this problem! I ordered this water fountain. It had a low hum to it that becomes soothing kind of like white noise. Well, neither cat would drink from it!

During the winter the dry heat dries out my skin, lips & nasal passages to the point I’m uncomfortable. When I set up this water fountain, the surprising side benefit was it worked amazingly well as a humidifier!

I didn’t completely understand just how well it worked as an humidifier until I returned it to Amazon. Then everything was so dry again that my long haired, bowl tipping cat’s fur was full of static electricity. My skin, lips & nasal passages became uncomfortable again. I should have kept it solely for that purpose!

It works great, would have been easy to clean & looks nice. . I just have typical finicky indoor cats that decided I should never have removed the water bowl. I won in the end by getting a gravity fed dish from Brookstone. Works...

Elizabeth: It was loud my cat loved it but it stopped working after 8 months. Update this company is amazing they reached out to me after I left my review and apologized that my water fountain stopped working after 8 months and offered me a full refund. If you’re thinking about buying your cat a water fountain I definitely recommend this one they actually care about their customers. Also my cat really loved the fountain after it stopped working he was really sad so I bought him a different one from a different company and he refuses to use it. I will definitely be reordering this water fountain :)

Amazon Customer: Update: our fountain eventually started making a distractingly LOUD water trickling sound. Not a pump noise, but the sound of water trickling. Turns out, we had a faulty filter! It was not as permeable as the other six filters we had used so far. It wasn't letting water pass through at a sufficient rate and water in the clear plastic tray was trickling out of the corner slots into the reservoir below. I replaced that brand-new (faulty) filter with another brand-new one and this is letting water pass through more quickly. Trickling sound eliminated. Fountain back to being silent. Whew!

We've been using this fountain for about a month now. When we first cleaned, assembled, filled, and plugged it in, the pump was SILENT. I was delighted. There is the occasional gentle water trickle noise which I find rather nice. The fountain sits about six feet away from my recliner in an otherwise silent house.

Daniel Noonan: Have had this for 6 months. Great design, lighting etc. But as soon as it gets to less than 2/3rd full the pump is not strong enough to keep the water flowing. Looking to buy an alternative already.
