Starry Messenger: I was scheduled to give a presentation to a local science group, and needed to ensure that I could connect my laptop to the projector which I knew the group used. This seemed to be just what was needed – as, indeed, it proved to be.

Tvirus: I originally purchased an Amazon Basics USB-C to USB-A and it worked intermittently. I returned the Amazon adapter and purchased the one I originally wanted but didn't want to spend a few more dollars for. I learned my lesson and will pay more for what I know will work.

Eric: Apple frequenter makes changes to their cable plugs and charge blocks. When they changed format to USB to USB-C, years worth of cables and charge blocks became obsolete. This little adapter lets you attach an old USB cable to a newer USC-c charge block. Quality is first rate, as are all Anker products. This is a great fix to enable you to continue using your “obsolete” cables.

Amazon Customer: I have very small converters but I wanted one with a little distance from the port as sometimes USB-A cables are short and it's less likely to lose a cable than a tiny adapter. This thing has a lot of rubber on it and feels really durable.
