It’ still needs to be activated by a locksmith or a dealership. But that’s not a problem. But it was at a great price and it came with instructions and that does help but I do have to get a locksmith and the last time I bought one they did it for just a couple of dollars or five dollars so it’s worth it because the dealer Will charge you about $500 so it’s worth it and I recommend it. I recommend that you go online to try to find someone that can do it from your home or they can come to you in their car and do it and meet you somewhere because I’ve done this before. Good luck

It's a match for the original key fob. But it turns out my car, a 2007 Cadillac CTS, doesn't program a key fob. I'll have to spend $65.00 at a locksmith to get it programed.

I am less than impressed with this keyfob. I took it to the automotive locksmith and they tried to program the key three different times with no prevail. Turns out the aftermarket key fob does not work with my 2005 Cadillac CTS and I need to go to the dealer to get a OEM Key Fob.
