The only thing you should know if you are using it for a 2018 Rav4, just go head and turn the engine on for 15 minutes, press the brake and the button on the remote start module simultaneously, release the button and brake and wait for the green light to blink twice to confirm module programming, disregard the first step of the programming... I think that will be helpful for other buyers.... I love the product!!!!!

C T: It works. I redid the programming steps and all the strange issues I had were solved.

Also the BCM is up inside above the OB2. It’s not that hard to get at, but the video kind of jumps over that part.

I have a 2018 Rav4 LE key start.

Overall I’m very happy with it so far. The tech support staff responded to me multiple times on a weekend.

PhillyDog: Easy install 2014 rav 4. T harness, all plug and play, no cutting or modifying factory harness. Took 15 minutes to install outside in 30 degree weather.(MN) I cannot rate tech support because it worked exactly as described. Watched couple install videos and it was off to the races. ( side note, if you have a Rav 4 of the same generation with a nav unit,reverse cam., etc. There is a software update on toyota web site for the head unit. They can get caught in constant reboot loop and there is a very small chance of resetting the unit.(brick) New head unit @ 1100.00$. U can down load update on a thumb drive, follow instructions on web site. I found out to late. Replaced with aftermarket unit. 300 plus 100 in wiring harness and module to retain steering wheel controls, usb port etc. )
