Keyless Entry Fob Remote Control Compatible with 2003-2006 Chevy Tahoe, Suburban, Silverado, Avalanche, Equinox, and SSR

April: Was easy to program for a 2004 Tahoe. But it is hit and miss when unlocking. Have to push the unlock button multiple times before it unlocks all doors. Will unlock the drivers door on first push but that's it. Works great to lock the doors just issues unlocking.

Roberta Burdick: My buttons on mine were so old they were popping off. It says for my type of vehicle you have to go to the dealer or locksmith. We went to a locksmith and it would have been $50 to code it. He just swapped the insides for the new one with the new buttons and charged us nothing. Nicest guy.

Danny Ciolek: The second fob I couldn’t get programmed took a meter out the battery was dead bought new ones haven’t programmed it yet .Other then that the one works I use a key most of the time .

Jason: For those having issues with it not unlocking anything but the driver door, it doesn't seem like this key fob is like the newer ones where two quick presses will unlock all the doors. Try this if you are having issues with it not unlocking all doors.
It's helpful if you have lights flash for unlock set in the settings...
Press the unlock button once, then wait for the light to flash, when the light does the second flash, press unlock again. It should unlock all the doors then.

I have lights/ horn on unlock set, and was getting frustrated that it would rarely unlock all the doors, especially when holding a bunch of groceries trying to get into the rear lift gate. After unlocking the vehicle this way. It's been successful every time.

Jim Jam: The fob that came with my used truck was so weak, you had to be within 3 feet of the vehicle for it to work and even then, the buttons didn’t always. Never having had to replace a fob, I wasn’t sure if it was necessarily the problem, but it’s a fairly affordable gamble, so not knowing what to expect, but hoping for the best, I put up for this bad boy… Holey mess, it did it disappoint! It was super easy to assign and this thing is so strong, I can be in my apartment, like 100 yards away with a brick building between and it still works! Excellent buy if you suffer from any fob related issues.

Dan: The programming was straight forward.. there was a video online that explained it well. I've only had the fob's for about 2 weeks, but for now they are working very well. They unlock the doors from a reasonable distance away. I won't give 5 starts until after I see they've been working for several months... but so far so good.

Felipe Molina Garcia: Me funcionó muy bien, solo que cuando programas el primero y ya quieres programar el segundo, el primero se desprograma. No intente programar los dos al mismo tiempo. Me sirvio en una Silverado (cheyenne en México) modelo 2006.
