Leandro: Love the product. Have install various remote starters from other brands and may I say this one is the easiest yet. Very straight forward. Should of gotten the mobile upgrade but didn’t have enough money. Will see how that works.

Alan Ledesma: Easy install, comes with easy to follow instructions. Total of 5 minutes install time. Works exactly as described with OEM key using lock-unlock-lock sequence. Bonus: if you ha e access to ForScan, you can also enable the OEM remote start settings in the cluster (optional-works fine without). Great product for the price point!

Luther: The most simple thing I ever installed, for me 10 minutes, the hardest thing was mounting the control box under the dash, but I am 70, my arms don’t bend like they use to, love it, my ford app quit working on my phone 2022 Ford f250 XLT, I ask Ford what they would charge to install the Ford remote start he told me 500 to a1000, 100 bucks and 10 minutes done

I had already preprogrammed the BCM to remote start ENABLED
So important to have on hand a Forscan OBD2 plug or equivalent to program as well
Very pleased and not expensive at all 👌🏼

It says 5 minutes, more like 3(installed in a 2016 Ford F-150 XTR 5.0L) It worked the first time for me, minor delay when starting(3-5 seconds), and it works with your OEM remote!. I already recommended it to a half dozen people I know looking for such a product. Hands down worth every single penny.

Brian S.Brian S.: My wife got a 2013 Maverick Lariat with Lux package, but I think there was some confusion in ordering and changes in 2023 regarding remote start therefore did not get the remote start FOB. Even though can start with the Ford Pass app, it is still convenient to have ability to remote start with FOB... for example when I am doing the driveway and lots of snow, I cannot start the vehicle because my wife has the app. Sometimes the app doesn't work either.

Installation was fairly simple, more time spent strapping the unit up securely out of the way since there I not much room in front of the seat to get under there. Note that this vehicle has push button start and this the instructions mention this option. I wish they would update this page and the product info to reflect that it works with 2022 and 2023 models, because the description and dates are a little outdated and feels like taking a risk ordering it.

Nicholas: Took me 3 mins to install and it works really well. I have noticed that there isn’t a 2 start limit like most remote starters which is great when it’s -40 outside and you need more than 2 15 minute start cycles. I am really impressed with how easy the instal was and how much value for your money this gives you. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a cheap but effective remote start.
