J. FerrerJ. Ferrer: I converted from a 3x8 to a 1x8, and I found the chain would slip off the chainring while using the largest cassette wheel. Fixing the issue involved getting the longest chainring bolts (12.9mm length bolt body) and using 16 - 10mm washers. Additionally I ground down the old chainring female bolt half to make a bushing on the chainring side. It took a few hours of trial and error to make this a solid installation including using blue threadlock.

Jason Drennen: It's a square tapered crankset, not the fanciest setup but super simple and reliable. I had to move the chain ring to the back side of the cranks for better alignment. I would imagine most bikes would have to do that, but if you know how to use a hex wrench it's easy enough to do.

Jim McGowan: I've bought a few things from Bucklos to save money and not pay for the brand name. Sorry Shimano. I am impressed with the durability, look, and functionality of all their products. I put these on my gravel bike and have no complaints. The chain ring is holding up to the mileage and the crank arms are too. I am rebuilding another bike and will buy their products to outfit it.

Monik: Estas bielas me gustaron mucho ya que traia shimano de 3 platos que pesan como kilo y medio y estas bielas con plato solo 600 gr lo mejor que puedes escoger el tamaño de plato y también si lo quieres ovalado, yo recomiendo el 34 ovalado para monoplato mi gente ya no la piensen

david mennell: a little lighter than the stock crankset on my cheap fat bike. they look nice. would have been nice if they came with crank bolts though. they went on nice and tightened to 40nm no problem. chain ring seems of good quality and fit the chain nice. one thing to note: the BB shaft is a different length on either side(non cartage BB). chain line was way out when i installed it... simply by turning the BB axle the opposite way corrected it. if you have a non cartridge BB it works. obviously if you have a sealed BB(cartridge) this doesn't work.
