lanly: Was hoping to find an organic truffle oil to be a repeat purchase for our restaurant. The first bottle was great. The 2nd bottle had absolutely no truffle flavor in it - it was just olive oil. We had many guests complain that our truffle mac & cheese dish was not what they expected. It didn't taste like truffle! Please have quality control on your batches. We were not able to return this very expensive bottle.

Norm: A really delicious product which tastes exactly as it should, so a good value for me.
The truffle flavor is less intense than other comparably priced products in fancier bottles, but those stronger flavor truffle oils have only the dominant note of truffle without the full complexity of white truffle flavor, something's missing from them.

With this Urbani Truffle oil the full complex truffle flavor is here in a delicious oil flavor which complements the truffle. I'll be buying more.

Andrea : I saw that Jacques Pepin uses this brand so I thought I’d give it a go since most truffle oils have that fake truffle smell. This is absolutely divine! When I opened the bottle, I instantly caught the aroma of real truffle. Drizzle this on Alfredo sauce (totally American but my god is it good!) or on some creamy, French-style scrambled eggs. It takes anything you make to the next level. Yes, it’s expensive, but you’re not drinking it or making a salad dressing with it. One bottle should last me a very long time, and when it’s gone, I’ll order more. As far as packaging, like some others have said, the top of the tube that held the bottle came off during shipping and the cap got dented. Not a huge deal and it still works. This could be remedied by taping the top of the tube to the tube itself.

I've tried two other brand of Truffle oil and this one is by far the best one.
It's the 100% organic
Italian extra virgin oil with pure white truffle extract.
There's no preservative or additive in it.
You can just smell the difference.
I'm drizzling this oil to pretty much everything I eat and enhance the umami of any dish with such a sophisticated truffle flavor and aroma.
I drizzled it to my poor man's lobster roll and it was amazing😍

Yes great product costs more.
This is definitely one of em.
I was little disappointed that the lid for this oil case was dented.
No it doesn't affect on the quality since the lid is for the case and not the bottle top.
But I spent $41 dollars for this.
I wanted the package to be perfect...

Paul C: This is probably one of the better brands I've tried. No chemical taste and allegedly no artificial aromas added. I believe those that claim it has a weird or metallic taste are not familiar with this flavor in general. As many know, truffle oil has a strong flavor and seems to be an acquired taste. I've found you either love it or hate it. I mainly use it to make Parmesan Truffle Fries (I'm addicted) or pasta with truffle-cream sauce. Note that while truffle oil has a strong taste and aroma, white truffle oil (this) has a slightly less pungent flavor than black truffle oil and is more suited for the light dishes I mentioned above. It arrived perfectly secure without leaks in a protective tin canister. I'm on my second bottle and so far this will be my go-to brand. I won't expand on its use, as I assume those inquiring about it are familiar with its application.
