zanzi75: sull'anet a8 e la jgaurora a5 (non più funzionante) uso e usavo un altro tipo di piano, non ricordo più il materiale ma nero che si può tagliare a misura, bello ma molte volte dovevi lottare per poterlo staccare, i pezzi aderivano troppo, ma messi con una giusta calibrazione devo dire niente male, ho voluto provare sulla mia sunlu s8 un nuovo piano e sono rimasto sbalordito, moltissime volte usavo il raft per stampare i pezzi in maniera ottimale, perchè o si staccavano o avevano un effetto warping, con questo non ho più usato il raft ma aempre e solo il metodo skirt, i pezzi si staccano anche facilmente e senza bisogno di separare il piano dalla base (cosa che facevo inizialmente) il piano solitamente lo tengo sui 60 gradi per il pla e 75 per il petg, mai usato ne lacche e ne altre schifezze, devo dire che sono molto soddisfatto.

Robert Riggan: I printed for years on a glass bed and glue sicks to keep my parts from breaking free on the first few layers thinking how much difference could a magnet easy release build plate ready make.... Well it makes all the difference, On a regular build plate I would have to scrap or pull my parts off and it would throw my bed out of level every time. But no more! This plate has a perfect balance between having just adhesion to guarantee your parts stay put and easy enough release that I almost never have to re-level my bed. Highly recommend.

A. Barajas: Bought this for my Artillery Sidewinder X1 and it fits perfectly. The X1 is notorious for having an imperfect build plate and this helped out a lot. Very easy to stick the magnet on and remove the PEI sheet. Definitely recommend.

LauraLaura: Ho acquistato questo piatto in PEI in quanto quello originale della mia stampante, Creality Ender 3 Max, è in vetro texturizzato e con il tempo la texture si è staccata causando problemi di adesione.

Contenuto:
- Piatto in PEI;
- Adesivo magnetico.

Confezione:
Il tutto è contenuto in una scatola di cartone di circa 33x33x3cm. Il piatto e l'adesivo sono all'interno di una busta con le bolle di aria.

Il piatto:
Il piatto in PEI è verniciato a polvere e risulta ruvido al tatto da entrambi i lati. Le sue dimensioni sono 310x320mm compresa la "maniglia" altrimenti 310x310mm maniglia esclusa.
La vernice è di ottima qualità ed è distesa perfettamente sopra l'intero piatto senza lasciare aree vuote.

Installazione:
Per installare il piatto bisogna fare alcune distinzioni tra stampanti che hanno il piatto in vetro/plastica e stampanti che hanno un piatto già magnetico.
Per coloro che possiedono le stampanti con il piatto magnetico non ci sarà nulla da fare se non rimpiazzare il piatto originale con questo e sistemare l'altezza del pulsante dell'asse Z, se non si dispone di un dispositivo di livellamento automatico.

MarioMario: Recently purchasing an Ender S1, I was struggling getting some of my prints off of the original plate. I didn't have an issue with the original pad and the first layer adhering, but I definitely had an issue with breaking a couple of my prints due to them refusing to release.

I've made a couple prints since receiving my new UniTak3D Ender 3 PEI Printing Bed and every print has adhered great, and when it came time to release them from the plate they literally popped right off. Just taking the plate off the magnetic pad the first time, the print popped right off without me even having to do anything. Great upgrade, I'm very happy.

David J. HaufDavid J. Hauf: I had to recently design a part for a client and tried glass, but was not happy with the texture. Sure it was smooth and shiny, but showed way too many defects in the finally print. I was looking for a way to make a production part with a nice finish, so decided to try this steel bed with texture. I was extremely surprised at the results on my test print. I use this bed with PETG and it sticks extremely well. I use 85C bed temperature and gave it a quick wipe with isopropyl alcohol before I printed on it for the first time. You can see from the picture above that the texture is very nice and hides most of the surface lines from the 3d print. I definitely would recommend this to anyone looking to give their 3D prints that extra professional pop. I never had to remove the steal sheet to remove the prints when done printing, they popped off once the bed started to cool off very easily. If you do happen to get a stubborn print that you can't get off easy, it is convenient to be able to easily remove it since it's magnetic, and give it a quick flex to pop the prints right off. No scraping required. Overall I am very happy with this product.

Mark Byrd: I have been printing a lot of PETG recently and every once in awhile, separating a piece from the Ender/3 Pro's magnetic surface would actually separate some of that surface. Changing origins to avoid the remnant pothole works for awhile but eventually the potholes are everywhere. Critical print, no spare build surface EXCEPT this PEI sheet so necessity forced my hand.

I installed the PEI sheet on the already installed magnetic mounting surface. I manually leveled the bed at all 4 corners using a doubled sheet of copy paper. I dial-in my bed level while the skirts are printing. I like using a large? 8" rectangle. For you? Save an hour... don't double the copy paper. Maybe even something thinner like vellum? Any how, for me, PETG would not stick until the nozzle was close, VERY close. And if you are not level there is going to be some undesirable contact with your new print surface. I had hoped to be able to switch surfaces depending on the material I was using but without automatic bed leveling, this would be a lot of recalibration.

Mender/3 Pro's Mk8 hotend had been upgraded with a Capricorn PTFE tube and a .6mm nickel plated copper nozzle. At 240-245 degrees, PETG...

Darrin: I switched early on from the Ender 3 Pro's original magnetic build plate to glass, and I loved the evenness and bottom surface finish that results from glass; however, I had so many issues with adhesion with ABS and PETG, so I wanted to give this a try.

PROS: Super convenient to remove prints; easy to achieve adhesion with anything; more build area (no clips); faster heating than glass; just as easy to clean as glass (acetone and iso welcome)

CONS: While not as uneven as the original, the spring steel doesn't match glass with evenness of build plate (I guess abl is something to consider); the highly textured surface makes removing small parts of prints, like skirts, sometimes next to impossible; getting the first layer right is not intuitive; I miss the super smooth bottom surface finish from glass;

If there's an official PEI magnetic plate with a smooth instead of textured finish, I'd love to give it a try. Generally, this surface is easier because you don't have to worry too much about adhesion, but getting the first layer right isn't as intuitive for me for some reason. I like this, but I don't love it. I think I'll be keeping an eye out for something...
