Zach: If you invest the time and energy into going through this process, you will absolutely transform your relationship with exercise and food. There's no magic bullet to weight loss, and the quick fixes, powders, fad diets are bound to do more harm than good, but Rita sets you on a path to success through a careful examination of triggers, emotions, and healthy habits.

I'm so grateful that I've had the opportunity to work with Rita and go to her directly for counseling after reading the book. Before the shift process, I would come home from work and mindlessly wander around the kitchen, looking for something eat - not because I was hungry, but because I was bored, and had conditioned myself for that "I made it through the work day reward". Even as a former D1 athlete, I didn't really enjoy going to the gym, and I often struggled to make healthy food choices (especially when stressed).

Fast forward to 2 months after the Shift process and I don't go for the fridge, or the jar of peanut butter when I come from work. I eat a healthy balanced dinner and don't stress eat - instead drinking a water/tea and going for a quick walk. I still make mistakes, but these aren't the end...

"Diets" and passing fads about how to lose weight had simply added to my struggle with food, and caused me to feel I would never be able to lose weight and keep it off, constantly going up and down the scale. Shift Weight Mastery changed all that and my definition of diet. I learned how to control my eating, not having to sacrifice or give up foods I enjoyed, and maintain a healthy way of life.
I was fortunate enough to participate in the 30-day kick-off 5-years ago, and was successful losing 8 lbs the first month, and then a pound a week after that. Sometimes I would hit plateaus, but because I was a Weight Mastery apprentice, I knew I had gained many tools to get past those plateaus.
But even more than all of this, reading this book cemented my understanding of how my inner thoughts affect my relationship with food. I know that I will come back to this book again...

Thanks to Rita's book and the 30 day hypnosis support, I have released a total of 17 lbs.
A friend of mine and I have gone through several weight loss programs, when she invited me to buy the book and try Rita's method I was reluctant to do so; through a lot of persuading from my friend I decided to do it ( I needed to lose weight to lower my blood sugar). Rita's book exceeded my expectations; I am releasing weight, my blood sugar has gone down and I am changing many eating habits.
Rita's book was the missing link to my weight loss.

C. Walter: The SHIFT is a combination of guided hypnosis, instruction and support by the author Rita Black. I participated in in this journey before the book came out and I can say this works! Having always been a yo yo dieter Rita was able to help me change the way I thought about weight and guide me from "dieting to Shifting". Rita and this program were a Godsend and I place her in such high regard as an angel in my life. With the tools that are given to you hypnosis, the book, online support and additional down loadable material you are able to focus and learn what is important to you. Through these techniques I was able to quiet my mind from the obsessing over my weight and food and learn what my triggers are and how to deal with it.

I lose weight slowly so it has always been hard to stay with a "diet"and not get frustrated and give up but with Rita's steps and support I managed to lose 25 lbs, feel great and get my confidence back and thrive by "Shifting". If you are truly looking for a program this is it, Rita takes you through her personal journey and it's so enlightening you can't help wanting to make the journey as well.
