Rhia l.: Amazing... very helpful information. all the information i need to know about the skin is comprised in this book. no more googling for topics that could mislead me to a wrong website and ideas. Every thing here is about what i need to know, the basics that i was having difficulty collecting and finding.
The prints are not small too and easy to read.
Topic focuses only to what is important. not confusing.
Hope to find an ebook for my kindle. thanks

Abby: Let me put it like this: If you're having trouble answering your client's questions, you need this book STAT. (I mentioned this in another review of the Milady reference guide) Mark Lees' knowledge is unmatchable in this industry. There are NO gimmicks, NO pushing you to buy his products, and most importantly, there is NO CONFUSION when he is eloquently explaining the situation. Skin is complicated to understand and skin theory can be boring to certain people; He makes it so literally anyone and everyone can understand the problems they may be experiencing. I have even referred the book itself to clients who were interested in learning more about their skin and the way it works because it's THAT easy to understand.
Let me also mention that if you have Paula Begoun's books, you should really consider adding this one to your collection: estheticians need to hear the same things multiple ways to ensure that we truly understand what we're doing. Paula's approach is okay and everyone should own her Beauty Bible, but in turn, we have to have other sources to reference. His version of things is in laymans terms and is a lot easier for your clients to retain.
Let me be very clear:...

Bigslacker: I am medical esthetician and this is simple, wonderful, making sense information. I recommend it for any skincare junkie, whoever wants to look younger, have healthy skin. A must.
I got it so I can force the info to my friends who don't believe in sunscreen and other products that can protect their skin. Now whenever they tell me their internet truth, here, read that. I want to help you ok?:)

jay: I am in esthetician school and was looking for a book that will further my knowledge about the skin. This book has so many great questions and answers that are very clear and easy to understand. I feel that this book is a great addition to my education and I will only do better when I start working on a clients face and if they have questions. The only thing that I would change is that the pictures in the book are in black in white which makes it a little difficult but still okay to look at. However, I was so happy I decided to purchase this book, I highly recommended it!

Stephanie PerezStephanie Perez: I'm an Esthetician and this book is so helpful. Sometimes I forget a few things I might not talk about on a daily basis with clients or my students and this book helps me so much. It's so easy. The layout is in Q&A's and it's easy to understand and a great refresher. Mark Lee really took his time to remember all the questions and more his clients asked him and he answers in a very simple manner. Plus there is a glossary section in the back as well, which I LOVE. I recommend this book to new and all Estheticians, anyone who loves skin as much as we do. I tell my students "Education Never Ends In What We Do". Read and soak it up!!
