Kirk: It has aged a little, you can also find some good recipes online or with the Psoriasis AIP cookbook. But I am still very happy with it, it has tons of recipes you can follow or change a few things up. It has alot of useful information about what to stay away from and what to eat.

Amazon Customer: Firstly, you're probably wondering if this works. Yes! I had psoriasis on my forehead, cheeks, a two inch spot on my right elbow and at times spots on my torso. They were deep red and my face had higher, redder spots on a field of red skin. I controlled it with steroidal cream. Now at week seven, my face is just pink, no sloughing skin, no angry red. my elbow, some scaling and pink. A couple of notes, I bought this book and it sat on my shelf after reading. I didn't have the mentality to accept a couple of important things. One, I can't eat what I want and Two, I deserve to be healthy and well. Once I accepted those two things it has been simple to follow the book and get better. Also, the recommendation to stop using my steroidal cream in the book I thought weird. I stopped using it and my face flared up, dark red, raised redder spots, sloughing skin appeared. It was shocking to see how sick I was, but as I adhered to the program, it diminished and seeing this was very, very encouraging. If I was using my elecon cream, I wouldn't have seen that change. In a way working from home during COVID gave me the safety to do that. I've been using Elocon cream for over 20 years and now- I...

Ben Bozzay: This book is dense and full of information, but the more I re-read it the more I realized that this book is full of "try doing this and see if it helps". It is not a concrete action plan for recovery. Because of the range of ideas in the book, it's difficult to know if you're following it correctly.
1. The only hard requirement is to eat alkaline foods and to avoid foods on the "do not touch" list. However, there are many other recommendations aside from this. For example, the book recommends starting with a multi-day apple diet combined with aenimas. If you're allergic to apples, you're supposed to skip the apple fast entirely or use a different fruit. If it's possible to skip part of the program, then it's difficult to tell what parts of the program are critical or just theories. Additionally, the book recommends several supplements, teas, ointments, and many different foods. Because of these soft recommendations, it's difficult to plan out your own program (because you will have to plan your own program, the book will not do it for you).
2. It would be great if the book detailed more controlled studies instead of "this boy was healed within 3 months." A controlled...

Gina Lee: I recently was diagnosed with a mild case Inverse Psoriasis. Not wanting to use medicine first I searched for a alternative and found this program. I have been following the program now 2 weeks and I am seeing result already. Has taken a while to get all the items together and learning the ins and outs of the diet but... I feel it is doable. I recommend trying a logical alternative before going to our last resort of using drugs to help symptoms. Food is a drug in our bodies and if we tune in and listen to our bodies we possibly could help it heal itself.

sirsar: Bless him for all the good knowledge that he left behind him and shared with others. I can't recommend this book enough. After taking a second set of antibiotics, I started developing
Psoriasis/Ezcema over my face, ears and eyebrows..extending into my neck.
I previously suffered with scalp psoriasis which I tried to keep down as much as possible with topical prescribed steroids and natural oil treatments. When plaques started to flare up over my face I was desperate, steroids prescribed by dermatologist worked but as soon as I stopped the treatment, they were returning with vengance. I couldn't rely on steroids for a long time specially on my face. My left eyebrow itched as hell!
I started doing some research online for leaky gut syndrome as root of autoimmune diseases and read a comment in YouTube about Dr'Pagano work (for 50 years). This book is a must, you need patience (can take months, each body is different) and follow the diet. There's cure for psoriasis, your body is trying to eliminate toxins throughout the skin, it's crucial knowing what to eat and stop eating inflammatory foods. This book has a lot of recipes and options which is great for someone who does not...

TR: Great cookbook to help you get through this life change. It's a lot to say: you need to change everything about the way you eat and drink, in order to get better and here's a list of what you can and cannot have. That can be extremely overwhelming. But Dr. Pagano created this cookbook to give you straight forward ideas. For me, I'm using it to create a weekly meal plan and grocery list. I can take the core recipes and tweak them to fit my needs but still remain on the diet. There is still some level of making it your own, that is required. For instance, some of the recipes have citrus fruit or juice in them and you should know, from reading the book, that if you have inflammatory issues or arthritis you must omit citrus. But, other than a small amount of insight and planning required on the part of the patient, this book is a treasure for those who are busy or don't cook from scratch often.

Amazon Customer: I am so very thankful for this book coming my way. I have psoriasis and this is the best health minded view of this situation. Dr. John Pagnano has followed Edgar Cayce's request to continue researching health issues. This book is so very clearly written and easy to understand and follow.
The products are easy to find. If you are tired of trying all the stuff that doesn't work and are willing to change and do some things a little bit differently - this is the book for you. It is not a cake walk but then what is?
Please consider reading this book for your own health. Don't see it as just a bunch of hard stuff to do - see it as perhaps a new way to enjoy and live your life. We already are different than others because of our psoriasis so why not be different in a positive uplifting way by doing these things Dr. Pagnano suggests and have our difference now be our radiant health!!!!
