Marina: Good book but the author doesn't mention the wonderful fats from grass fed beef tallow and pastured lard and he leaves butter and ghee in secondary place.

Cindy Dyer: Having been on a ketogenic and then fully carnivorous diet for about 3 years, it's nice to have all this information collected and explained by two of the best health-thinkers out there. I can tell people why what I'm doing is not only not going to kill me, but is actually good for me, but it's easier to point to a well-written book. If anyone wants to really know what the deal is with fat, especially animal fats, this book is a very accessible way to start dispelling some myths. Also learn which fats to avoid, and why.

Susan L. Carrier: I have been following a ketogenic way of eating for 18 months, 83 lbs gone, 300 to 217 so far. I have read many books, watched many YouTube videos, and read many blogs learning how to claw my way back from the Standard American diet which, in my opinion, was killing me. I have reversed pre-diabetes, a decade of high blood pressure, sleep apnea is resolving, my high-risk medical history for colon cancer and poor colon health have been so greatly improved that instead of 1 to 3-year follow-up I am now 5-year follow-up and if I am as good then, 10-year follow-up. This is huge when people in my immediate family have died horribly of colon cancer and I had precancerous polyps. This book gives a ton of important information about how the human organism works, why certain foods work better than others and enhance an understanding of why processed foods, chemically processed foods, etc. are health-harming and not health-enhancing. At 69, in 18 months, I have improved my health so dramatically that I am released from cancer follow-up, my doctor has discontinued all prescription medications, and I am regularly going to a gym to improve my overall fitness after years of being unable to...

Ed: I have been on the ketogenic diet for around 7 months now and after watching a video on this I ordered the book. I am over 75% of the way done with the book and I have to say I am very disappointed in it.

So far this far in I see nothing about the ketogenic diet and how anything relates to it. This book is all about Omega 3s VS Omega 6s. Chapter after chapter talking about how it affects every condition or problems with almost all of them coming to the same conclusion.
After reading a few chapters you can predict the outcome of the next - too much Omega 6 over and over for everything. To me, this could of all been just one chapter showing a list of conditions and just say too much Omega 6 is the problem then the book can be 60% shorter with room for more information that may help someone pick the right foods and so on that is on a ketogenic diet.

I find it very frustrating to read the same thing over and over and not get any information for why I ordered the book.
If you want to know everything about Omega 3s and 6s this is the book for you.

Haical Sajovic Haddad: I have just finished reading the kindle version—the content provided me valuable insights even before I get the chance to read it again while taking personal notes slowly. Because the book is well-written and ahead of current medical concepts, I was deeply absorbed and couldn’t stop reading it. That’s why I am happy to share some thoughts with you.

If I could summarize the content in a few words, I would say that Superfuel refines and improves the information I have learned from previous references in terms of fats. It is, in fact, an outstanding addition to previous books that encourage us to focus on healthy sources of fat—which has gotten more evident than ever to be a powerful source of energy for our bodies and brains.

In general, diet/health/longevity/nutrition books deliver a comprehensive experience. We learn about multiple aspects at once—which is important to build a solid foundation. In Superfuel, however, Dr. DiNicolantonio and Dr. Mercola focus their attention towards fats, revealing findings that will help us fill in the blanks. We learn which fats support true health, which ones don't, and a lot more.
