DJ: Good book to learn keto, while just getting started. Most of the recipes are really good and easy to make. I didn't care for most of the desserts though.

C.P.C.P.: This book is a staple! Every recipe is delicious (just like the first book but even more!) And all the food is so easy to make. No horrible long recipes and your kids will love some of these recipes too (I let my kid eat carbs as well though). I would use these recipes even if not following keto, they're that good. Whole family can enjoy without feeling a "diet".

BirdNerd007: This book has colourful photos and a handy visual glossary at the end of the book for recipe pg. numbers. The first recipe I tried was the cookie dough bites. They are awesome. I have been craving a sweet treat while on the keto diet and this hit the spot. The marinara sauce is simple but full of flavour. I can't wait to try more of the recipes in this book. I might have to go out and buy her 1st keto cookbook as well.

She breaks down the diet so it’s easy to understand but then also discusses the importance of your mental health. This is the first recipe book that I have sat down and read like a regular book!

Victoria: I have Suzanne Ryan's SIMPLY KETO cookbook and although I do not stick to KETO religiously or use it as a dieting tool, I love these books! So, I had to get this one too. The pictures and illustrations are fab!! Suzanne is very inspirational and I really appreciate the kind and insightful advice that she provides in this book. I believe that wherever you are in your weight loss and health journey, it's important to remember to be patient and kind with yourself. AND to look after others but also to look after yourself and quit beating yourself up!! The recipes are wonderful! What I like the most is that my family loves them and they are easy and delicious. For example: I cannot wait to try the lasagna. It looks amazing as does everything else. A word about KETO. Many friends of mine have lost significant weight using the KETO method. Really. They look pretty amazing! But for me, I love carbs and as long as I watch my portion sizes, I can eat them without gaining too much weight. I also feel that a calorie-controlled smart portion size diet is the best approach to weight loss...but that's not right for everyone so just do what works for you! A Reader from PA: So..I wanted to love this book, but..
First, the good points: this book/cookbook is thicker than expected. Suzanne gives a lot of good solid advice. Nice large pages. Plenty of pretty pictures, and the recipes are all pretty much very family-friendly, with the majority of the ingredients easily accessible these days. Not complicated recipes.
However, many recipes are quite high in carbs (especially the dessert ones, several I see right off the bat are 22g carbs).
Also, there are many recipes and "menu items" here that are not truly keto. True actual strict keto does not use blueberries or strawberries or onions, bell peppers, or tomatoes. Some may not agree, as "dirty keto" and other more permissible "versions" of keto have cropped up, but some ingredients in these recipes are not true keto. That said, roughly 90% of the ingredients are keto. But if you are one who practices or looks for strict and true keto, this might be a disappointment. Again, I realize some feel these are permissible on keto, and some feel they are okay in moderation, but they are not truly keto. Oftentimes people eat these (even in "moderation") and might stall.
