Jenifer: There is so much information in this book, it’s a great how-to for a ketogenic and ketogenic chemistry. And David, with all of his setbacks, is a great teaching example. Highly recommend. I’m working through the workbook as well.

QuiteContrary: I've been reading books and watching videos on Keto and Carnivore for several months now, hoping to find answers to my stubborn health and weight issues. Dr Boz has come up with the most comprehensive, thoroughly researched and well-guided plan for healing, and losing pounds, that I've found. She gets 5 stars for that, even though her writing style could use some guidance from a good editor. I have been doing some form of keto/carnivore for the better part of a year, so I didn't need to be walked through the beginning stages (or the coaching about conquering cravings). What I really did need to understand when I started was the metabolic underpinnings of each stage, or continuum, so that I could know where to begin and what I needed to look for as criteria for moving to the next continuum, but that info is spread through different chapters and sections, in both the book and the workbook. There's also no index, for easy lookup of subjects. I find it well worth the effort to look for the info but it is somewhat a damper to have to. I can't imagine some of my friends being willing to bother. I bought the workbook to record my numbers, but I started reading it because I spotted key...

L. Riley: I rarely leave reviews because most things I buy do not live up to the hype but this is the best book I have read this year and I read over 100 books a year. I had watched some you tube videos and had already started a keto diet and had only lost 10 lbs in 3 weeks so I ordered this book to see what I was doing wrong. I now know that I am pre diabetic, have insulin resistance, and probably a fatty liver and broken hormones to boot. I read this 500 page book in TWO DAYS because it was that interesting to me. I feel like I have more knowledge than if I had gone to see a dozen doctors about my health. I bought the Keto Mojo meter and I feel like I have the tools I need to reverse my health problems and shed the stubborn weight that menopause has put on. Everyone should read this book to take charge of their health.

Pam P: I had been doing Keto for about 4 months before I bought this book, on a whim thinking it couldn't tell me any more than I already knew. Wow was I wrong. Even though it is a brick like 500 plus pages it takes you through every single stage of the ketosis process methodically. Dr Boz gives you different keto continuum stages that, based on whether you have diabetes or other medical issues (which all get addressed) you can go and sit at until you are ready to move on to the next stage. I have lost over 30 pounds so far and the book explains why I had stalls and takes you through to the next stage, explains what to look out for that tells you whether you are ready for the next stage and gives you support in an easily explainable way. I am going for continuum 12 over the next 2 months which will hopefully melt the rest of my fat away. Wish me luck!

Steven J Hernandez: It was the YouTube videos that made me interested in this book. It is over 400 pages long, but for those who don't like long reads, it is infused with the stories of "David" and "Grandma Rose" and their inspirational journey out of the darkness of ill health and into the light of health and vitality.

My personal journey is that of attempting, with some success, things I've learned from fasting. Fasting helped me through Covid. But I found that the benefits some claimed about fasting weren't happening for me, at least not to the degree they were for others. In an age where everything is become politics, including medicine and science, I've learned full well that my health is in my own hands. Education is key, and the mystery of ketosis was the missing piece I'm still striving to understand.

Dr. Boz puts a human face on that struggle with Keto-continuum. The "continuum" reminded me roughly of a 16 week marathon training plan, because ideally you spend a certain amount of time (usually weeks) at each level of the continuum, and ramp it up when you hit certain milestones like effortlessly fasting 16:8 or accidentally skipping a meal. Rocketmande: So I thought I'd tried "keto". I thought I'd tried "fasting". Just didn't work for me, oh well, never mind. Keep on trying to lose that extra 50 lbs - how, how, how? Reading the latest diet with a biscuit in my hand. Feeling tired, achy, OLD, depressed and defeated.
Or so I thought.
Turns out I wasn't doing it right, or giving it (or me) a chance. This book, with its empathetic portrayal of "David" and his adventures in keto-land guides you along slowly, gently and informatively. Dr Boz's voice is clear and reassuring. No nonsense but no self hatred and no giving up! Don't berate yourself when the scales fail to show a loss or your knees ache - check your chemistry! Work out where the problem lies and fix it! Keto is always going to be a leap of faith when your GP looks at you in horror, but Dr Boz inspires confidence and enables that leap (or slow, purposeful walk!) I've never read a more thorough guide. Please read it. It might just save your life.

Alexander_TG: I’d been on Keto for about 5 years with ok results but it wasn’t until reading this book that actual results started to occur. Proper energy, and focus, like I’ve never known. By-the-by, before reading Keto Continuum I was going on net carbs and not taking any numbers, dum-dee-dum….

I’ve never really struggled with weight but severe brain fog and listless energy for about 25 years was my sweet tooth penance for everybody that thinks being skinny and eating whatever you want is hitting the genetic jackpot. Other accolades I’d maintained during my five years of supposed Keto was the uncanny ability to **** through the eye of a needle very soon after a meal, aka intestinal impermeability, see Appendix I (I wish I had).

Throughout the book there’s a real flair about Dr. Boz’s writing style that permeates with prescient and punchy examples that provide vivid illustration to complex subjects for newbie and seasoned alike.
