Je ne regrette pas, il y a une grande variété d'embouts pour adapter à ce que l'on veut faire (pour ma part du la personnalisation de dessous de verre en liège). Prévoir temps de refroidissement puis de chauffe si besoin de changer les embouts sur une même création...
Après une heure d'utilisation, je confirme que l'appareil chauffe beaucoup (l'embout utilisé principalement a pas mal foncé mais l'appareil n'a pas fondu pour ma part). Il est vrai que la prise en main est éloignée de l'embout (pas aussi maniable qu'un stylo...) mais on s'adapte et s'habitue.
J'ai obtenu un résultat qui me convient :)
Je suis donc satisfaite de mon achat :)

Eddie Shei: My wife got this for me as a gift and it's worked great as a wood burning tool. It's easy to get set up and start using. I used it pretty much right away to see how well it worked, and then used it on a couple projects I'd finished up as gift for family. I haven't needed to use it as a soldering iron yet, but it seems like it'll do that as you'd expect, too.

Il y a un anneau de protection pour ranger le fer à souder encore un peu chaud, mais je conseille tout de même d’attendre qu’il ait bien refroidi, ne prenez pas de risque !
Le câble du pyrograveur mesure 140 cm, ce qui est à mon avis suffisant pour travailler sur un établi ou sur un bureau. Il est assez souple pour permettre des mouvements fluides. Le manche est en plastique de bleu, de très bonne qualité, avec un manchon en silicone pour une prise en main assurée et agréable. Au bas du manche, un petit bouton rotatif va nous permettre de régler la température à notre guise, et juste au-dessus, un témoin lumineux nous indique s’il y a un problème et que le pyrograveur chauffe trop.
Au niveau des accessoires, c’est vraiment très complet. Pour la pyrogravure, ce ne sont pas moins de 28 embouts qui sont proposés, et qui nous permettront de travailler le bois, mais aussi le cuir ou pourquoi pas le liège.
