Brent: Product arrived quick and I installed it in about 30 min. My tapwater had previously tested high for copper (1398 ug/L when under 1000 is recommended in my Canadian province (Sask.). After installing the filter I re-tested the water and its now 16.8. Plus it filters out other stuff too. Double bonus is the kids like it so have stopped requesting that we get bottled water. Love that is lasts for 3 years. Definitely worth it!

JeffJeff: For 14 years we have used the filtered water from our GE side-by-side refrigerator, but the compressor is on borrowed time. Since we have had on-going issues with the water line always freezing up on the GE – a known defect with the model, we decided to look at alternatives and save on a new refrigerator cost with no water dispenser. I found it ironic that both the appliance serviceman (with 30 years’ experience) who diagnosed our compressor issue and a few days later the sales person at Home Depot both indicated that water dispensers on refrigerators can pose lots of head aches and potentially additional services calls. Water dispensing is one of the number one complaints and/or service requests associated with refrigerators.
Thus, I trusted Amazon’s reviews, purchased and installed HomeIdeas drinking water faucet with Woder ultra 10K water filtration. However, I just wanted the filtered water to come out of Homeidea faucet, thus I purchased a Lasco tee valve. The installation required me to make two trips to the store because the Woder output hose needed a short 6-inch hose (M10 male vessel sink faucet connection) to connect to the Homeidea faucet. Anon: This is a great product. It eliminates the need to sacrifice counter top spaces. And to my surprise, installation takes very little time - 5-15 min for normal people who can operate a wrench, 30 min for me. I was skeptical at first. But felt better after watching the youtube video on how to install woder, and finding out my place's under sink area looks similar enough to that shown in the video. Still I researched into everything I read in the reviews, including the 1/2 to 3/8 adapter and the use of teflon/PTFE tape. Neither was used in woder's installation video. So I researched for 2 days until I remembered I could just return if it doesn't work out. Luckily for me, I only needed an adjustable wrench. Here are some information that may or may not be helpful:
1. The under sink shut-off valve that is on your right (when facing the valves) is usually the one that supplies cold water.
2. A "supply tube" connects the [water supply] shut-off valve to the faucet. The supply tubes are usually flexible.
3. My woder came with the two tubes already connected, one on each side.
4. The objective is to create this new path for the cold water: wall -> shut off valve -> woder...
