Whit: You really have to wiggle the hair in to get it in the Combs. It gets plenty hot enough it's just hard to get the hair in there. I imagine it wouldn't be horribly fun with very curly hair (like kinky curly). It works for my 10-year-old's hair decently. I don't really like to use it on my thick straight hair though. The reason I bought it was because I was hoping the teeth wouldn't break as easily because she constantly uses her other hair brush straightener as a regular brush and it doesn't take long for the teeth to break. That is one very nice thing about this is the teeth are nice and sturdy.

Michela: Molto dispiaciuta di averla dovuta rendere, è molto maneggevole ed efficace, ma per la lunghezza dei miei capelli non va bene, avendo un taglio scalato le punte scappano dalla spazzola. Peccato perché dove prende bene i capelli è veramente efficace, liscia molto bene e in un paio di passate.

Amazon Customer: I have culturally mixed 3b curly hair. Which means although its fine and soft, my hair is also unruly with curls or waves, and doesn't like to straighten unless it has enough heat. Mind you I also live in a very humid climate
The comb aspect of the Tymo design is interesting. I saw some YouTube videos and thought to give this a try. I personally love that it works supremely well on my root area. That always has been the hardest area for me to straighten properly. Yet, it tends to curl the heck out of my ends. I'm also not great with maneuvering a brush in one hand while utilizing a straightener/blow dryer in the other so. That could just be me. So, after I use the Tymo I touch up with the straightener for the ends. I was hoping to replace my straightener since it's old, but it seems I've just given myself extra work. So it gets a 4 star.

Katharina: Die Bürste liegt gut in der Hand und macht einen robusten Eindruck. Leider sind meine Haare zu dick dafür. Ich dachte ich kann damit durch meine Haare kämmen, wie mit einer Bürste, jedoch muss man immer mit einer Hand die Haarsträhne glatt ziehen. Das war mir dann doch zu stressig und ich bleibe bei meinem Glätteisen.

CARLOS: Mi pelo es grueso y rizado. Nunca se me ha dado bien alisarmelo y siempre se me quedaba fosco (no soy ninguna experta ni tengo paciencia para tirarme mucho tiempo peinandolo). Por estos motivos estoy encantada con este aparato. Primero lo tienes que tener seco y luego con unas cuantas pasadas a los mechones se queda muy bien y me aguanta liso hasta que me lo vuelvo a lavar, mantiendose tambien liso al levantarme por la mañana... algo increíble para mi cuando lo normal es levantarme como una leona... Lo recomiendo al 100%. Hace un año probé el cepillo GHD y nada que ver....

I absolutely adore this hot comb-style straightener. It performs exceptionally well when it comes to achieving perfectly straight roots without the risk of burning myself (unlike my boyfriend's attempts with the TYMO). It leaves my hair looking as sleek as if a professional stylist had done it. Surprisingly, I actually prefer it over my flat iron. It allows me to work with larger sections of hair, significantly speeding up the straightening process (usually around an hour, give or take a few minutes). To get the best results, I always start by blow-drying my hair. I haven't tried straightening my hair without pre-blow-drying it, mainly because I live in a very humid area and rely on humidity control products like "WOW" to combat frizz.
The only challenge I haven't quite mastered is getting my ends as straight as the rest of my hair. Admittedly, I'm due for a trim. I still have to use my flat iron on my ends to make them look...

Brief introduction:

I have really curly hair and i let my hair air dry than brush it and use the tymo… the results that i get are not flat straight hair as i would with a flat iron. It gives like a blow dry look. See images for the before (after brushing curly air dry hair) and after (when using tymo).

I love my hair pretty straight, so when i wanted it like that i jumped from my tymo to my flat iron.

When i do my hair with the flat iron i dont get to actually do hairstyles… that may sound difficult to comprehend. But when i style with the tymo alone my hair is more manageable to do hairstyles and i do feel its less heat damage even though i use the highest heat setting.
Anither thing i love is how it gets the roots. As i mentioned earlier i have CURLY hair…. I’m not sure how the brush can do it but it gets the roots and that is a HUGE plus. One of my favorite parts. Because if...
