Herb: Biggest dislike is that they don't locktite any bolts, and they always come loose. I use this almost everyday all year, and it usually dies in about a year. Most often one of the pistons sticking is the biggest fail. But for as often as I use it, it's still worth it.

Ryan: I have a big milling machine that has a pretty low clearance, lower than my car jack, so I needed something lower profile to be able to pick it up and change out the casters on it. This is super low, as they say, but the overall build quality seems very nice, sturdy. The handle is 2 parts that fit together so you can use it long or short as needed, and the foam grip on the handle is appreciated. But what's much nicer than my other car jack is that the tension/pressure valve you have to twist to lower the jack is integrated into the handle, so you don't have to pull the handle off and fit it over the valve thing and turn it, you can just twist the handle itself, great improvement. Overall just seems like a capable and well designed product.

Craig Hemsath: Very happy with this purchase. Smaller in size (doesn't take up a lot of garage space) and good price for a box damaged item (jack itself is perfectly fine).
Not the highest reaching jack. Lifts quickly. Positive & control release of pressure. Still use jack stands. But for a guy looking to replace his own brakes & whatnot. This is EXACTLY what I need. Excellent purchase.

Amazon Customer: I bought this for doing tires in the driveway where I have to carry the jack up a flight of stairs. It's nice and light so it's not a big deal to do that. It goes low enough to get under a car, and high enough to work on a small truck without a block. You would need more lift capacity for some vehicles, but that is to be expected as it is not a large jack being only rated at 1.5 tons. Quick lift function works great, and saves a lot of time. This isn't a professional use jack, it is for a homeowner who needs it every now and then, and it is priced accordingly, but it's much better and safer than bottle jacks, scissor jacks, or some of the smaller floor jacks. Would buy again.

R. Higdon: Let me start by saying that this thing is heavy! It definitely gets the job done, and it feels very sturdy. My biggest gripe is that it is a bit hard to maneuver due to the position of the pump arm. Other than that though, it's definitely a solid jack. Worth the buy for sure.

David Hicks: I bought this to replace a similar Torin 1.5T jack I bought 15 years ago and was used pretty sparingly for installing winter tires and occasional maintenance tasks: that jack eventually blew its seals and replacement parts were no longer available from Torin so it's probably a good idea to buy a $5 seal repair kit immediately just in case. Note that Torin's service department is helpful but can be difficult to reach (several calls and emails were ignored before I finally caught them) and they also sent me the wrong parts initially before telling me they weren't available at all.

The dual-piston system seems to add a lot of complexity but it does crank up fast. The single roller in the front is nice for stability and spreading load so it doesn't sink into asphalt driveways, but makes it hard to manoeuvre.

Also, despite being a low profile jack it's still somewhat limited with clearance, especially with a jack pad or rail guide in place on the jack so keep that in mind if your car is super slammed—the absolute lowest you'll get it is ~3.5"/89mm.
