Kara McElhaney: Gate latch snapped the first month and we've had to jerry-rig it ever sense. The plastic piece used to swing the gate is wholly useless and should have been metal if they wanted any kind of durability. Get a Regalo one instead - they last way longer.

Brian: This gate works good for us, we just use it to keep our dog in the kitchen sometimes so he's rarely pushing on it. I made sure I measured the doorway before buying because it only has two adjustable pieces to add length to the gate so if your measurements aren't correct, it will either be too short or too long. I didn't realize I had to drill little screws into the doorway so don't buy if that's not an option for you. The gate can easily be pushed open without holding the button down unless you put the little plastic stoppers up on the bottom of the gate to keep it closed.

TJ: Works well and I really like the self-closing feature. If you plan on having it flush to the floor, beware of floor molding as it is a real pain to try and work around.

Stacy: This gate has been really helpful walling our mudroom off for our puppy and keep her contained in a space that is bigger than her crate during the day. I love how adjustable it is. We purchased with an additional 11" extension, and that allowed us to customize the gate to the ~61" opening, plus base moulding on one side. The opening system is a great design with the lift and auto latch. The drawbacks... I do wish this gate were 33-36" high. I could get a higher gate in the wall-mount system, but that did not work with the moulding or wonky walls like this one did and we had to return it. Our puppy cannot climb this gate since it is only vertical bars (yay), but I imagine that she will eventually be able to jump over it. The biggest issue is that with all of the connecting points, the gate can get wobbly, and lose tension at the bottom, especially when opening an closing the gate a lot (due to the "lift" motion). If you tighten too much, then the gate bends and becomes unstable that way. If you don't tighten enough, it becomes loose and can move with opening the door.
