PAR: I was using a long Ethernet cable with my TiVo mini lux, but this works much better. I would often have to re-set the box with the cable in but so far with the usb wireless, everything fires up right away!

Roy McKenzie: I was placing a TV on the wall outside under a covered deck and wanted to add our TiVo Mini VOX to communicate with our Bolt. I was faced with putting a hole through our wall to the outside and extending our network cable. However, this little WiFi adapter changed all of that! Installed in minutes, configured it with our current WiFi network and it was up and running. No degradation in streaming at all - nice and smooth, no issues. Very happy with the purchase and the work it saved us.

Casey Coenen: This wifi adapter works well overall. It is a bit overpriced for a wifi adapter but I wanted an "official" unit. Note that this only works with the newer Vox mini's...if you have an older Tivo Mini that is not labeled as "Vox" with the voice control remote, it won't work with those older ones. That should be more clearly stated in the instructions in my opinion since most folks don't even bother using the Vox (voice) features and that seems to be the only difference between the old and new models.

AG: This has solved my cable wiring issues! The key is paying attention to the directions & updating your minis with a coax before trying to go wireless. The wireless connection option on the minis appears to be part of a software update so if you try to go wireless prior to doing the software update, the wireless connection option doesn't appear. It's right there after the update. I updated them in a room where I had coax & then moved the minis & the wi-fi adapters to the final locations.
