JohnP.: Tasteless but average for type product.

Steven L. Hamilton: This is my second order for this particular product. It is a bit spendy but, at least for me, well worth it. The bread has always been received in good condition. I freeze it and bring out a loaf at a time... and it works well for me. The taste is good, although admittedly, I am not a bread connoisseur. My favorite uses for a low carb eating plan is grilled cheese sandwich, toast with breakfast, and hearty turkey/vegetable sandwiches. I usually buy four loaves at a time and that lasts me about a month. Will continue to purchase.

Darin L. Frazier: I have to say, after reading some of the reviews, I was a bit hesitant to order. Living a "Ketogenic" lifestyle for the past year has taught me that you have to look at a "substitute" as a totally different food, and not compare "apples to oranges".

These are not the same as grabbing a freshly made bagel from your local bagel store, or pulling a soft Lender's Bagel or Sara Lee Bagel from the package at your local grocery store. They definitely lack that soft, chewy texture. However, if you slice them (they come unsliced), add butter, toast them lightly, then add cream cheese or meat and condiments to eat them as a sandwich, they definitely satisfy a craving for some type of bread.

Remember, when you're not using all the junk and additives that make super soft bagels last on the shelf, or getting fresh bread from a Subway, you're not gonna' get an exact replica. But, the taste is good...and with the butter and cream cheese, or condiments and meat, they are very satisfying!

If I were comparing them against fresh, "carb laden" bagels, they would get a 2. They would remind you of a less flavorful, somewhat stale bagel due to their rougher texture. However, when...

Anon: My below review still stands in terms of taste (they were good!), but beware: My personal experience was that eating these products caused weight gain. I had gained back about 8 lbs of my 30lb weight loss that I've maintained from 2015 to the end of 2018. After trying to get back on the low-carb wagon using these products, instead of having 8 pounds to lose, I now have 15, and I'm pretty unhappy about it. I also craved these products constantly - another sign that the carbs in these products were probably being fully absorbed as carbs by my body. Anyway, maybe these products will work great for some people, or maybe people purely in maintenance would do well on these, but for me, they resulted in a huge setback.

I had fairly low expectations for these bagels, partially because of the many negative reviews. I opened the bagels today, threw half of one in the toaster, ate the other half cold, and I genuinely have no idea what people are complaining about, these taste wonderful, and the texture is great. I had never been able to lose weight and keep it off until I started eating low-carb; bread was one of my favorite things in life, and I have really missed it. I have been...

Angela B: I received my bread and bagels today. Needless to say I am IN LOVE. The taste is not identical to bread but I think it’s BETTER. It is soft, not hard or grainy. It warms up and doesn’t taste like rubber. I was so satisfied, I felt like I was cheating. I am so happy I tried this bread. Just be sure you freeze any that you can’t eat in a few days. That just goes to show that it is not full of the preservatives that typically comes in store bought loaves. I’m a dedicated consumer to this brand. ❤️
