Jack T. Lad: These whole wheat bagels are good for meat and cheese sandwiches. They are the slightest bit grainy while chewing, but they aren't too bad. They toast very well.

I_Am_Blessed: After cutting waaay back on salt this past year, I bought these for a treat but I couldn’t eat them…they are much too salty for me now as all the Thomas products. Too bad. Wish they had low-sodium versions of their breads.

Gregory A. Corson: These are Whole Wheat bagels that, like they say, are soft and chewy. They have a good flavor and are nice toasted with cream cheese as a snack.
I have tried a lot of different "packaged" bagels and the Thomas' brand is one the ones I keep going back to, I think I like the whole wheat ones better than some of their other varieties.
Of course, nothing beats a fresh baked bagel, but if you're not near a bakery these are a good substitute, also they keep well!
