Avery T: Okay, so let's add clarity (or more conflict?) to the consensus on these. First of all, I would just like to say that anyone who would buy these and simply throw them out after one bite is childish, wasteful, and not very bright or creative. Anyone remotely intelligent doesn't buy something that's clearly geared towards health and wellness and alternative nutrition and expect it to taste like a fresh bagel from a Jewish bakery or something right from under the glass at a New York deli. Aces in places, folks. If that's what you want, go to those places. There isn't a replica for everything, particularly one with a good shelf life u can get on the internet.
Now then... I knew immediately by name and by the excessive verbiage and check marks of specs that this was definitely going to be something promoting health over classic carby bagel nostalgia as well as promotion of their own mom and pop-like philanthropy, which I admire. This analysis is what I consider common sense and helped me set strange extremely high expectations of an Amazon bagel aside.
My only question was, is it palatable? The answer is yes. Very much so if you're not a jerk looking for the wrong thing...
