HH: Honestly, the taste is not bad. Of course it’s not going to be to the par of what anyone is use too. But for a keto bagel, it’s pretty darn good.

I believe these are packaged with nitrogen gas to preserve freshness. As is industry standard. Because once you open the bag you need to refrigerate the unused bagels as they will mold. Oxygen doesn’t play well with bread. In any case.

They will last if you ziplock them up and store them in the fridge.

I loaded mine with cream cheese. Tasted more of a water bagel than an everything bagel. Not much of the everything shaker has been left on these bagels. But was satisfying and good.

Price point. Maybe sell them by the dozen and charge a $1 a bagel instead of $2+ a bagel. I think they’re a bit on the high end. But shipping is never really free. Someone has to pickup the coat of the freight and I’m sure amazon commissions are at least 15%. Plus if they use pick and pack fees they’ll be at 33%.

Maybe if amazon lowered their fees products on amazon wouldn’t be so expensive.

Just my two cents. Try to put some clarity on the process, price point, quality and overhead.

Would I buy...

Itz_Jordan: These bagels are awesome for low carb diets. They taste great and go well with all meals. I did not see any negative affects while on keto. I verified this with checking my ketones using point of care blood testing.

I would have given them 5 stars a few weeks ago, having multiple purchases with no issues. However, my last purchase arrived moldy. If you try to return or ask for a refund in the app, it will say it is not eligible. Call Amazon and explain the issue, they will give you a refund.

Having read the reviews of other customers who experienced the same issue, this seems to be somewhat of a trend. While I understand that bread can be a little tricky to manage while sitting in a warehouse, I think they need to improve their quality control of existing product.

Because I really enjoyed the taste of the product so much, and know that I have the backing customer support of Amazon, I will continue purchasing these bagels. If they fix their quality control issue, I may increase my review in the future.

Nocturnal: So I've been doing keto for over a month and have only lost 10 pounds, which is amazing as far as I'm concerned since no other reducing diet has worked at all. But I got desperate for a bagel. I went for these since they were sold as "everything" bagels. However, there was an inordinate amount of shipping time (weeks??! and not even coming from overseas). When I finally got them and opened them, I did toast them since I toast all my bagels, put butter on one half and melted some cheese on the other (no avocados left, forgot about the jar of peanut butter). I do understand this is a diet and I am being punished for all my former bad eating habits but these taste like rabbit/cow food, very much like eating dried hay/dried grass/dried sawdust. I was going to toss them out but decide to suffer through since they are high in fiber and I can always use that, and they satisfied my need to have something to chew on. We'll eat them all because they cost so much and just to get the fiber but I'm not buying again, flavor is not what I want and I can make my own "breads" now using nut flours and things. Possibly, if these were sold locally at a more reasonable price, we may get these...

tinkerbell072005: If you want something that looks like an everything bagel...this is the product for you. Unfortunately I also have bread on order from this same company and I am afraid it will be too late to cancel it. The most difficult thing about being on a low carb/keto diet is bread. These bagels are dry like three week old bread that has been left on the counter to air out. I just received this bagel package on Saturday in vaccum sealed packaging and they looked delicious...I couldn't wait to chomp into this bagel. I put the bagels immediately in the fridge and today...I had my first and most likely my last. I can't even finish the one bagel. Fat head dough bagels are so much tastier and I have made them several times with almond flour and have also made them with coconut flour. Plus I have made everything bagels and cinnamon bagels out of the fathead dough...I have used them for sandwiches, bagels and hamburger buns...and they are the best thing out there....Also better bread choices though not a bagel include Sola White/Wheat Bread and So Lo Bread. Both of these make tasty sandwiches and are about the same price as these bagels. So buy instead the Sola Bread or So Lo Bread or make your...

Brandon Bozarth: going keto can suck for someone who loves carbs but i swear to you these are an amazing substitute. i highly recommend you toast them a little before eating and a good amount of cream cheese is awesome on it especially if you put it on while the bagel is still warm enough to melt it a little. if you do all this, you can honestly not tell the difference. if you do not toast it a little it is kinda chewy and just doesn't have the right effect. besides that the only other complaint would be that they come un-sliced.
