April Dewey: Made my brainwashed way of thinking, "must eat breakfast first thing, it's the most important meal" disappear for me. It's still a work in progress. I'm much happier and sleeping better. I feel like I'm eating simpler and not making a big fuss about what to eat.

The body reacts to certain things. It’s very clear to understand and shows you how intermittent fasting works and is NOT like every other diet full off false hope. If you have some every diet and are wondering if this could be the magic pill. Then it deffo is it’s not magic though ,it’s fact and it will tell you why all other diet ideas don’t work .

maryann: It’s a good overall book about IF if you are new to it. The cookbook part is helpful with lots of good recipes. She is clear & uses a common sense approach. What I find lacking is the “guide” there really isn’t one. It’s a one week diet plan for either low cal or keto, & 3 day for vegan or dairy free with recipes for that one week with instructions not to switch ard bc the macros r already counted. Not much of a start just one week! & the part I find least helpful is that she picked a calorie per day count that’s in the middle for men and women who want to lose weight, in other words good for no one. Pick a side or do both with one extra page! Her advice is add or subtract a few hundred calories. Not very convenient nor very easy for people struggling with weight loss! I wish I would have gotten one of the other IF books that has a convenient 28 day quick start. I did order it now.

Traveler: I watch Dr. Becky Gillespy's YouTube channel, which has helped me so much. She has great recipes that I've tried. She also explains so many aspects of fasting that have helped me. Therefore, I had to buy her book.
This book explains clearly how insulin is affected by what and when you eat, and how that affects your weight, as well. The first few chapters of the book are so informative. The recipes in the later chaptersare really delicious and easy too. I hardly ever have sugar cravings anymore.
I took the book when I went shopping, so that I could buy the healthy ingredients needed to add to my diet. I found everything at WalMart and Sprouts without a problem. Now I can easily whip up Keto Pancakes and many other healthy meals.
