Jamie: This remote sensor was very easy to install. And it helped correct my garage tempature due to the thermostat being placed near door and getting a draft from door

Todd Riley: I ordered these for one of my customers after going to my wholesale heating supplier and was told it would be a month to get the wired sensors. I ordered these on a Tuesday and I had them in my hand That Friday before noon and pretty much the same price more or less.
I'm happy

The Tech Guy: This is the perfect remote temperature sensor for Honeywell Lyric T-6 Pro Thermostats.
It's easy to install and needs to be hardwired back to the thermostat with two wires.
Programming my Honeywell T-6 thermostat to recognize this remote temperature sensor was easy and once installed and programmed my Thermostat now reads the temperature in our bedroom as opposed to the temperature on the main floor hallway. This makes heating and cooling much better in our home and solved the Too Hot or Too Cold temperature issues we were having.
Yes I would recommend this sensor ... I just wish it was $25 instead of $50 since there's really not much to it.

David Burley: Installed this in a building that had the thermostats located on the opposite side of the room from the returns. It had been this way for 20 yrs. Installed these above the returns and configured the thermostat to look at them. Auditorium temps now stable within 1 degree and most everyone is comfortable most of the time. Completely changed the climate of this building for the good. Very easy install. Does require 2 conductor thermostat wire to be run from the unit to the thermostat.

GaryZ: Bill Henry is correct! This is not the right picture but the description is correct and is exactly what I needed. I think the picture is of the "junction box" that goes with the C7189U if you want to have 4 or 8 remote temperature sensors to use temperature averaging throughtout your house. The RTS is small as it should be, 1 1/2" wide, 2 1/4" tall and 3/4" deep, almost invisible on a white wall.
It works great and solved my problem without having to move the thermostat to where I installed the RTS.
This was the 2nd time I ordered from Plumbing Planet and again they were great. When I ordered it, the "quantity in stock" said "1" which worried me a little. But I ordered it late Friday afternoon and it was at my front door the following Tuesday using UPS Standard.

Brent Davis: We have these all over our campus on Ecobee thermostats and they work well. We only have to adjust the sensor if the wire run is long. I took off a star because once they are mounted to the wall, the cover seems to come loose with very little pressure—even when we barely tighten the mounting screws.
