Not intuitive
We have 3 zone thermostast in my house
Thus one is impossible to read for setting up. Should have bought a higher quality one

Annie F: This unit is easily set or changed to your needs. Nothing confusing about it. Set to warm up by time you are out of bed in the morning, drop in temp during the day when it isn't necessary to stay warm. Weekend or off days can be set differently so it stays warm if you need it to be. Then warms up later in the day and turns down at bedtime. If it is too cool during a setting, just touch the arrow up or down for desired temps.

Dean: Works great and accurate. I'm on my third one in the past 4 years. The controls seem to function properly but the furnace heat shuts off while the fan continues to run trying to bring up the temperature to meet the setting. Which it won't blowing cold air. Replaced the thermostat with a new one and good to go for another year or so.

Amazon Customer: I bought this for an RV and actually works really well. The old RV ones are junk and saw this on YouTube as an option. It installed with no issue and works perfectly cycling the heat on and off with no concerns. Maintains the heat at the exact temperature. My only complaint is the the on and off switch at the bottom is really small and very fiddly to use.

Jeff G.: The thermostat in my newly purchased old home stopped working after about 1 year. Replacing the AAA batteries did not help. Circuit breaker not tripped. HVAC contractor quoted a fortune to install new, different unit and warned of electrocution hazard if I took the DIY path. No no-no-no. Fortunately, it was open-window season. Same model number available through Amazon with next-day delivery. Bingo - no wiring - just replace the innards with new unit and AC/Heat back in business.

Thomas: I was looking for the cheapest thermostat I could find since it is for a rental I am staying in. This model doesn't have the back light so it can be difficult to see the numbers in the dark. It is bare bones but works. The only thing that caught me off guard was the compressor saftey timer built in. When installing the unit and switch between settings, there is a 5 minute time delay to allow the compressor time to ready. I am glad I read the instructions cause I jumped the leads to force the compressor to start thinking there was a problem with the unit. I was able to enter the programming to turn off the saftey while programming it. Don't forget to turn it back on.

Amazon Customer: I saw in the reviews that you can’t program for Celsius…yes you can. It’s in the instructions. I also read a review that said it’s not easy to program…yes it is? If you take your time with it, it will be fine. It’s a budget t-stat so no, it’s not going to be intuitive like Google or a Nest…
Other than that it’s a decent unit, only thing I wish it had is a backlit display.
