Theone Oliver: Extremely helpful, and provided a plan and hope for relief and recovery of gastritis. Also, helpful that the author reiterated certain points throughout the book, which for me, helped me to remember the point. It is also written in an easy to understand way, and not overwhelming. Love this book!

Nivie: The book is written in easy to understand language for non medical people. I was suffering from stomach pain every day until a month on this diet. After 3 months I was symptom free. I am still following the diet 8 months later and feel great. I highly recommend.

carol A.: I had a gastritis attack that want me in the hospital so when I got home, I was very careful of what I ate so for a whole month I made these recipes and they weren’t bad. Some of them were actually pretty darn good.

Beth: I purchased this book November 8, 2022 after an endoscopy on Oct 21st revealed moderate erosive gastritis in my stomach, a Schatzki's ring in the lower third of my esophagus and a hiatal hernia. Prior to this, I had experienced only 3 - 5 episodes when eating protein (chicken, tuna, steak) with painful heartburn & trouble swallowing - over a period of time of a year and a half. The last episode was so bad I felt like I was choking - thus the endoscopy. I was put on Lansoprazole and Famotidine medications and told to allow 3 months for the gastritis to heal. Ordering this book and applying what I learned is what has helped me tremendously. This book has helped me learn and apply so much! I've learned about supplements such as DGL licorice extract and aloe vera gels, and daily taking them has helped me a lot. I've adopted some new habits which are healthier for gastritis. My last endoscopy revealed MILD erosion in my stomach and healing in my esophagus (Schatzi's ring is still there as scar tissue from past damage). There is so much practical advice and wisdom in this book. I did a ton of research online when I was diagnosed with gastritis and this book is the most...

Anlsa: Having had gastritis for many years with GP's happy to keep prescribing various meds, it was good to read a book from someone who had done ALL the research. I found it informative, it helped me to understand the causes better and also good advice on how to manage

TaniaTania: The author has really done his research and has provided a handful of helpful knowledge and advice in this book! Even better is that he has been through the condition himself and so he understands the condition well (compared to the books written by doctors that have never been through it). Thank you L G Capellan for providing us with hope and for sharing your research and knowledge!

Michele R.: This book contains what you need to fix the gastrointestinal problem referred to as gastritis. Medications made my condition worse and my doctor's gentle advice did not resonate. Follow the tough measures and get better if you stick to the formula.

Kirstie: So I was a bit skeptical this could work for me, not because I didn't like the content of the book but more that my stomach was so painful after I developed a thyroid condition and I didn't think it was even remotely possible I could help it with a diet change. I think my thyroid had caused the stomach inflammation and my doctor just wanted to fill me up with PPI's, which don't agree with me and make me feel worse and I don't agree with them as a long term solution. I have been using this book with DGL and I use melatonin at night to reduce the stomach acid. I am now in a place after 2 weeks where I actually feel so much better, no upper abdominal pain and feel confident that this book will heal me.

Daniel J BerkeDaniel J Berke: This book has a very high average review, which it deserves in my opinion. I have followed this diet (with some influence from Acid Watchers Diet, which is more for GERD and is just a little bit less strict) for 6 months and for the first time in years, I am almost entirely symptom free now. I think I could make a full recovery this year, which I never would have thought possible and which never would have happened just following the guidance of my doc or even my GI specialist who diagnosed me with chronic erosive gastritis.
But there are some negative reviews of course, and I wanted to address those. There is concern there is some contradictory info, such as keeping hydrated but being warned against drinking too close to meals. I personally didn't see major contradictions like some claimed. I may not follow the book 100% in this regard but I drink a lot less water at meals now - but I still have to drink some - and I drink more during the day. I don't think this is a serious problem with the book that means you shouldn't buy it.
Some people say it's so complex and technical. He provided a medical explanation of the digestive system, gastritis, and how these things...
