Annette D.: The book gives very basic information. I would have liked more information on the different Fiber containing products out there. Half of the book included recipes. I found them to be long with too many ingredients and many ingredients that I have never heard of. I really didn't think I would be making any of them.

Donna: This book was easy to understand. The recipes are a bit complicated a lot to them. The rest of the book was helpful.

Dawn: Talks about the dietary differences between diverticulitis and diverticulosis which is super critical and seems to be confusing for most folks. Especially liked the lists of foods and how they treat the issues of both, and recipes outlining why they’re good for this disease, and easy options for changing them up to fit your personal tastes.

Tasha: This book is fantastic for giving you the base information, the ingredient breakdown with constituents and why they are good or bad, and some recipe ideas to form the basis of a good gut health!
Backed by facts and theory via research, even debunking claims like not eating seeds, so useful.
Can't thank the authors enough!!! Just what I needed straight after diagnosis, to help prevent another peritonitis event!

Ann L: Highly disappointed with this book. I was expecting more...
There's approx. 40 short pages of health information and 2/3 of the book is recipes.
I knew most of the content already having researched via internet. I was expecting more information like clinical research etc. Don't waste your money, research online instead. This is a definite return!

laura: It’s a good book but they only problem is it is American based therefore some of the foods listed are not available and the charts with fibre levels in are not very easy to understand.
