SHC37: The media could not be loaded.  Pros: The walls are almost twice as thick as other tanks I have bought, that bulged when filled. It’s very clear, not cloudy as one of my other tanks. The cover has openings for a heater cord and airline tubing. Comes with a very informative set-up and maintenance instruction sheet.
Cons: Flimsy cover, slightly warped cover doesn’t fit flat on tank and an unnecessary large, feeding opening could let fish jump out; I cover it with a glass plate. Extremely bright white only LED light bar; I put black tape over three of the nine lights. The filter pump looks oversized and a bit noisy; but the water flow can be adjusted.
Overall: I am very pleased and recommend, it despite my cons.

Derek: At first we thought it was an ok first tank for our son. When adding water into the tank it cracked along the bottom. When we emptied and tried to move the tank it broke in two pieces. Very disappointed with this purchase.

Buyer: I am going to make this review as helpful as I can. I read a lot of reviews before purchasing myself. I’ve had multiple size tanks. If you are not wanting a tank to have multiple fish, this tank is great. The lid COULD be better because it is flimsy and can fall in the tank if your not careful. (C’mon Tetra!) But, the tank itself is a neat shape, the filter is perfect with the low/high option, a spot for a heater, and plenty of space for your Betta. If not wanting for a Betta, some guppies or small fish would do ok as well. If you want a HEALTHY Betta, 3-5 gallons is BETTER (and recommended) than these 1-2 gallon “Betta homes” that places sell. I received this tank quickly and the only reason I gave 4 stars is because the lid, but it’s still not bad. (I’d still purchase.) The other thing to note, is that it’s plastic. Plastic scratches and can fog the plastic, so be cautious when cleaning it. Overall, this tank is a good deal for the price especially compared to other tanks this size. Amazon Customer: So I'm a first time fish owner, and after much extensive research into the different tanks on amazon and research online, I decided to go with this one. I'm super happy with the tank, it's definitely great for a first time fish owner and perfect for bettas (which is what I have in there, don't worry just the one haha). The filter is very quiet and effective from what I can tell, and my betta actually likes to swim underneath and and get partially sucked into the flow and then swim away, like some sort of game haha! But he seems super happy in there with all that I've got, he's even starting to make little bubble nests :) The light works pretty well too, and is bright enough to see inside, but not too bright that it's blinding. I'll do a quick pros and cons list, because there are just a few disadvantages.
Pros:
-nice and roomy
-quiet filter (although keep in mind i have it on the lowest flow setting for my betta)
-nice LED lights
-not completely enclosed so theres a little notch where you can feed your fish through
Cons:
-does not come with a heater, so you need to buy separately

Vanessa: I've had this tank a little over 3 weeks now and so far it has been the best small tank I have ever owned. Generally, larger tanks are the easiest to keep (IMO) but this one has been a charmer.

I wouldn't recommend it to be anything more than a tank for smaller water requirements. It is perfect for a betta, or neons, a snail or some shrimp. Larger tank fish would be highly discouraged. I have a betta and a young snail in there and it is more than adequate room for them both. It is also my attempt at a fully planted aquarium.

Pros:
1. The light looks beautiful and very natural. It also is bright enough to light up the entire tank.
2. The filter is totally silent.
3. The bow front look is very elegant and does not distort the view much.
4. The tank is designed to look seamless and has no "conniption edges" as most tanks do.
5. It comes with a clear top lid to stop evaporation.
6. The lid is also pre-cut so that wires can run through and there is a feeding slot at the front.
7. Great starter tank.

Cons:
1. The filter is a little larger than you would like, so it takes up room that could be swimming room.
