Kindle Customer: I thought this tank was big enough for a betta but then I did more research and it’s really not. Nice tank though. Filter flow way too strong but it can be fixed by inserting a piece of sponge in the outflow. Beta is now much more active and happier in a 5 gallon tank and I’ll turn this in to a shrimp tank or something.

Megan Shaw: This is a nice tank for my beta. I had to turn the filter pump all the way down though and it's still a little strong, but my fish seems to get around okay now. When it's turned up he has to fight the current!

Mike SchafferMike Schaffer: I am a huge fan of this fish tank. It is great for beginners. Awesome for a single betta fish. However, the tank comes with some flaws. If you can get past the flaws, it's truly exceptional. The filter really does force the water too fast. I solved this problem by adding a small piece of filter media by the water outlet flange. Definitely slows the flow. Next, the black plastic lid is more junk than anything. It truly does not sit on the tank properly and not engineered to fit correctly. Currently, there are no leaks with the tank thus far. Set up was very easy. Great for any small area, counter, or office.

Devan: This tank is perfect- with some modifications. Examples: I added some filter floss in front of the filter intake and then pushed the large lava rock against it to keep my smaller fish from getting sucked through to the back. I took off the water diffuser and put a pre sponge on it so the current wasn't so strong that my betta couldn't swim right. I also had to zip tie the tubing in the back because it kept dislogdong from the output, which caused scum to build up on the water's surface.
*note: all my shrimp, chili rasbora, and even betta have still somehow managed to make it behind the pseudo wall and take residence back there at least a few times. I have to either fish them out or suck them up to get them back to the front side of the tank.
Overall, I still love the tank. It's a perfect nano setup if you add the correct fittings and make a few adjustments to fit your needs. A little high priced, but worth the sleek look.

Lalo: Buenos materiales bien construida y equipada.

Lo que más me gustó es el vidrio redondeado del frente en una sola pieza se ve elegante sin puntas de silicon.

El tamaño es pequeño perfecto para 2 peces medianos o 3 pequeños con algunos artículos en el interior como plantas y troncos con grava decorativa de fondo se ve muy bien.

El equipo es muy básico bomba de aire suficiente para oxigenar sus 11 litros.

Lo que quizá falla un poco es el sistema de filtrado con una pequeña esponja común y corriente y el filtro de carbón activado que afecta un poco a la formación de bacterias benéficas para los peces.

El agua se enturbia muy seguido opte por cambiar el filtro de carbón por uno de almohadilla reutilizable para que el agua sea más clara y funcionó un poco mejor.

La iluminación se ve muy bien en el tono claro, en el tono azul se oscurece bastante pero sirve bien para plantas o artículos fluorescentes.

El tamaño y el precio están bien para tener un acuario pequeño para empezar, no necesita mucho espacio ni una base tan robusta ya que el peso no es excesivo.

Yaro: Tank is exactly what I had hoped for. My only grievances however are in relation to the “passages” between the main tank and the filter.

This is a nano tank, so you need nano fish within the tank. WELL. The “filter holes” are big enough that my chili rasboras can swim through, but once they’re back there they are essentially stuck until you remove the filter and either catch them and release them back into the main tank, or you force them to swim back out of the holes. Tremendously frustrating to be doing every single day.
Additionally, the filter hole is VERY close to the bottom of the tank, which limits the amount of substrate that you can have at the bottom(or at least in that corner)

GeorgeGeorge: It shipped on time and came with no cracks, chips, or scratches. The Amazon box was barely sealed with only one piece of tape, and the aquarium was laying on its side. But it did arrive perfectly fine so that’s all that matters.
It looks amazing and came with all the parts. No pieces were missing. The cover for the filter is warped so I can’t slide the aquarium cover without also lifting the filter cover, which is annoying and not supposed to be.
The flow of the filter is a too fast for my betta even with the filter on its lowest speed. Hopefully when’s I get all my decor in it will help block the current.
The light is nice but it would be nice if the daytime light was brighter because I am going to put plants in the aquarium.
It also would be nice if there was not an output nozzle sticking out. It kind of looks weird.
Overall it is a really really nice aquarium that looks sleek and modern. The rounded corners make it look so much better compared to any other tank. The motor does make some noise, which I do not care about but I had read other reviews that said it is virtually quiet. Linda AbbottLinda Abbott: I noticed, when researching tanks I wanted to buy, that the 3 and the 5 gallon reviews and Q&As are totally mixed together, so I want to state right out that this is a review of the 5 gallon tank. This is a beautiful tank. I was looking for a glass tank after totally destroying more than one acrylic hex tank trying to get algae off the sides of the glass. While you have to be careful handling it when you set it up, glass is SO much easier to clean. Being a glass worker, I have to say I'm really impressed with the curved edges on this tank. It isn't an easy or inexpensive thing to do. I actually questioned whether this was real glass or plastic because of it. But it is real glass and it is curved without distortions that might happen when you bend glass. It gives it a lovely, graceful and expensive look. I like a naturally planted tank and was concerned about the amount of light I'd get from the LED strip. It looks like it will be fine for low light aquarium plants, like ferns and anubias. I will update this if the plants don't thrive. Even if they don't, attaching an additional light strip to this tank will be very easy and will not detract from the beauty of the tank. The...
