Mary CampbellMary Campbell: The media could not be loaded.  Alright, so when I found this jerky and tried it, I was ecstatic because it tasted delicious and the price was a bit more reasonable than my number 1 brand Robertsons. The last bag I received before this one, I found a couple of pieces with the white fuzzy substance you see in this bag. I had already gotten so many good ones that I figured it was a fluke. This bag is a current order of two 16oz bags which is almost $70 and I’ve found more than a few pieces with mold in this bag as well. Now, I’m scared to even open the other bag in this order because what if it’s more moldy beef jerky. I would have brought this directly to the seller, but couldn’t find a spot to message them. While scrolling, I saw that others who’ve bought from them in the past month or so, have also had mold in their bags as well. I’m not sure what’s going on, but people spend a lot of money on this, and I really hope it will be made right. I cannot return it, because it’s a good product, but fix the problem at very least or you’ll lose a lot of customers who really loved your jerky 😭

Terry K.: The spiciness is in the aftertaste, the bag smelled nice and beefy when I opened it.

It was good.

The jerky was sort of unflavored, all I could taste was the beef. No saltiness or anything.

After eating it the heat sort of creeps in slowly.

nanshee: I was hoping for a spicy kick, but was disappointed that there wasn't any. Not even a little hint of spicy for my batch. Will try again given that the jerky was still tasty. I wouldn't call this cowboy jerky though (my go to has been HardTimes brand until now) Slightly "oily" and has some moisture to the jerky, but overall good flavor all around. And at 90 calories an ounce, without sugar I won't worry about snacking on these. Price point was better as well compared to what I've been paying for the other brand of cowboy jerky that I really enjoy.

Jonathan A Blevins: TL;DR: This stuff is amazingly good. If you love a good steak, you'll love this jerky! Beef flavor up front and on the finish. Addictively craveable!

BUYER: I'm NOT a jerky connoisseur. I've snacked on Jack Links for a decade or better without complaint. I am, however, a lover of fine steaks. I always assumed jerked meat couldn't compare to a fresh, succulent, woodfire-grilled, medium-rare ribeye. Boy, was I wrong. O_O

SUMMARY: This "old fashioned" beef jerky, without any preservatives or the typical additives (like sugar, soy sauce, or worchestershire), stands head-and-shoulders above any other I've ever tried. You have to try it!

FLAVOR: A fine au jus. Chewing this jerky is like devouring a fine prime rib dinner. In all sincerity, I joked with my prime rib-loving mother-in-law that a stick of this jerky and a little dab of horseradish on the tongue and you'd have prime rib in a bag.

It doesn't have the overly salty, sweet, or peppery flavor of other jerkies I've eaten. The first bite made me think it might be under-salted, maybe TOO simple for me. Then, as I chewed, the flavors came out and holy cow (maybe literally?) that's some damn fine beef flavor...
