Rick Allen: These are not bad but not great, I like pepperoni sticks much better. The picture shows bare beef sticks in a container that can be closed. That is not what I got, I got individually wrapped sticks. Not at all what I was expecting. I have bone on bone thumbs so opening each individually wrapped stick is a painful hassle to me! Again not as pictured! I would not have ordered these packaged like this, the false picture is the reason I ordered them!

Ladd: I sent this to my son-in-law for his birthday. He likes the individually wrapped flavors. I was a bit last minute (4 days out) but was delivered before his birthday. Excellent!!

Derek: These taste ok. I like having the option to pack grass fed meat for hikes, road trips, and other outings where quality snacks are desired. The colour of the meat is not exactly appetizing (slightly grey brown), but the taste is good overall.

Spencer: Took the 24 pack on a 5 day portage in Algonquin park and they were awesome over the fire. The collagen casing crisps so nicely and the meat inside releases all its flavour. I looked forward to these most. I do think they could be slightly cheaper even just $3-$5. The meat sticks themselves are adequately sized. Good quality meat good buy.

And yes each one comes individually packed just like a gas station meat stick. 24

Amazon Customer: Good taste, packaged in singles which is very handy. They are a bit too salty for my taste, but most probably won't notice. They are a little expensive for what they are.

Vickie: I have tried several different brands of beef and turkey sticks purchased on Amazon. I generally prefer the beef. I have only tried these Mission Meats beef for the first time less than a week ago. I found the packaging to be my biggest issue. So hard to open that even using scissors to open the top fights with the plastic too.

Once I get into them, a half hour later - lol! The taste was fine and lightly flavored, the texture even through the casing was okay. This is my first order comparing to the other ones that are so far my favorites on Amazon. I will probably not order these again because they do not beat out PaleoValley for their beef sticks’ packaging quality among the great flavor and texture. They have turkey too, but I have not tried those from PV.

For other brands, I tried:

1) The New Primal Beef Stick: Those were pretty good but the packaging is again an issue. I hate it when it takes forever to open them. The taste is mild, texture is soft but not mushy, easy to bite into. Same with the PaleoValley, but Mission and New Primal does not have as good of a smoke flavor as PaleoValley.
