Tenda N150 Mini Wireless Network USB Wi-Fi Adapter - Ideal for Connecting to Wi-Fi Networks at Home or On-the-Go!

Elk Grove: Never heard of Tenda before until 2023 Thanksgivings black Friday sale. Couldn't resist the sale price and decided to give it a try. The mesh really provides what I want: long range, decent speed, and separate SSIDs for 2.4 and 5.0 GHz. I have more 70 devices (most of them are IoT devices) and the mesh serves devices very well (no connections dropped, mesh nodes have not been crashed and rebooted for more than a month). I had been using Linksys and Asus meshes and they all dropped client connections once in awhile like 1 in a month and I had to reboot mesh nodes.

ProductAdvisor: Fiddled with the mesh system for three hours and it didn’t acquire the ISP’s dynamic IP address. Tried all three of the units and none of them worked. When I connected my old router back of course I had to release the IP address from Tenda mesh 5700 6E, the old router connected right away. I even tried with a different router even that acquired the ISP’s IP address with no problems whatsoever. On the Tenda 6E axe5700 box 800 number is listed stating that support is available Mon-Sun 10am-6pm. Called them on a Saturday afternoon went straight to the voice message saying that they are open Mon-Fri. Emailed support on Saturday and someone responded on Tuesday. Waste of time on these cheap units. Looks like these units were released without proper evaluation in a rush.

Dragunov: Siempre he tenido adaptadores WiFi USB de 150 mbps y he comprado este adaptador TENDA U1 y el cambio es considerable,va como un tiro,es más pequeño que un pendrive convencional,llleva una antena creo que de 4 dbi,pero yo la he potenciado con una de 8 dbi y va como un tiro,por 8 euros merece mucho la pena,viene con sus instrucciones y su cd drivers,con que me duren como mis 2 tp link W722N que pasaron a mejor vida me doy por satisfecho.

Thomas Paine: This system works well. Set up is relatively easy. The power cord is pretty long. The only negative is there's about a one second delay from what you see on screen, to what's actually happening. But this, as far as I can tell, is common to many similar systems. The picture quality is good, the night vision works well. I've only tinkered with the zoom function, but it seems to work well. For the price, this system is well worth it.

John Sohl: I have purchased both the 8-port and 5-port versions and have been using them for several months now. No problems and the throughput speed seems to be at the level that they claim. My home internet connection routinely runs at about 900 Mega bits per second and I get that speed without the switch and when going through the switch, I cannot detect any slow down caused by the switch.
The installation is utterly trivial. You power it up, plug in your connections and you are done. If you want to mount it to the wall, just put in two screws and you are done.
