Elian BryantElian Bryant: The media could not be loaded.  The entire kit feels professional, huge improvement in quality from my last pyrography kit. Although the box did come with a slight crack I have not noticed any problems with how it performs.

S. LapshynS. Lapshyn: Wird schnell warm, keine halbe Minute und schon kann gebrannt werden! Einfache Bedienung. Auch nach einem Dauereinsatz von 5 Stunden kann man den Pen halten ohne sich zu verbrennen, aber warm wird es!
Sehr sensible Temperatur Regelung, da ich auf Leder brenne ist es immer ein Ratespiel was für Temperatur am besten geeignet ist, ist aber Material abhängig.
Der Aufsatz kühlt sich rasch ab auf Leder, was zufolge negativ auf den Zeitaufwand für ein Werk enorm beeinträchtigt (siehe Foto)!

M. Sandon: This is a really easy to set up kit. I like the bag it comes in too.
The pens are easy to set up and use, and haven't caused any hand fatigue (which others have!)

There is a good variety of wires/nibs.

The dial has voltage rather than temperature, so I'm having to guess a bit, but it doesn't overly matter as doing a sample board is a good idea anyway.

I'm loving it, and have made some xmas gifts already!

Paul: Love this wood pyrography kit really good the pens don't get hot nor the wires like i found with my old ( not so old but cheaper) kit an the tips are good for a wide range of different finishes well worth getting this kit instead of wasting money on a cheaper kit

RGRG: I was really excited to upgrade my old wood burner for a nicer dual pen model. Positives: heats up quickly, comes with a variety of tips which are easy to swap. Negatives: mine is cracked/chipped. Unfortunately I didn't notice until after the return window closed. Its on the back corner and is small so at least it shouldn't affect its use but is disappointing for the price paid. The pen grips do get hot with extended use. I just switch to the other pen while one is cooling. As others mentioned the dial is very sensitive and doesn't seem to heat until over 20 however the higher numbers definitively provide adequate heat. Overall I really like this wood burner and would recommend it.

BrandonBrandon: Glad I upgraded, new to pyrography and didn’t feel necessary to buy an expensive set up yet. But....I saw this and all the good reviews and oh how it has changed my mind. This burner is awesome, comes with tons of different tips for great shading detail and different style line work. I love the 2 separate tips, they are super easy to use and a lifesaver on efficiently burning.

Don’t forget to practice on a separate throwaway piece though!

Wood order again 10/10!!! (Pun intended)

JulieJulie: I got this one after using one of the crummy craft tools for years then briefly trying out the slightly lower model by the same company. I love pyrography and underestimated how much better a good tool would be. I did a lot of research and thought I’d need a more powerful model but this is plenty.

The pens are really comfortable to hold. They get a tad warm but not uncomfortably so. I love that two can be plugged in at once. After just a few projects, I already have my favorite tip which is always loaded into one pen then I switch out tips in the other depending on my needs and toggle power between the two.

The stands are something I didn’t realize were so necessary. I put the small sponges in the trays and keep them wet. I dab off the buildup on the damp sponge periodically and also dab the pen tip after I’ve turned it off just to help it cool faster. It’s not entirely necessary though, the holders hold the pens at a safe angle so they don’t touch anything and can safely heat up or cool down in place.

C. P. AyresC. P. Ayres: This is my second Tekchic Wood Burner Kit. I previously had a 50W which I loved, so was looking forward to the new 60W. The burner came quickly and I love the fact it has its own carrying case! The kit comes with two pens that can be connected at the same time and toggled back and forth so you don't have to constantly change tips. Changing the tips is not as easy, in my opinion, than the 50W, but not a deal breaker by any means. The pens are easier to hold and great for smaller hands like mine. The kit comes with a nice assortment of smaller tips than the 50W which was great for the 2 signs I started with to get a feel for the pens and tips. I was going to give a 4 star rating originally as the "chuck" on one of the pens was defective. Tekchic has awesome customer service, and Claire understood my problem and is sending out another pen. With both a great product and great customer service, I upped my rating to a 5! Looking forward to burning many more projects with this 60W Burner!
