M: This s14 is advertised as being able to heat 3gpm, but yet it can't even make a 1.75 Gpm shower hot, I have to run the shower on low flow (below 1.75) just to get a HOT shower, and for the bathtub it barely gets the water luke warm, and the s14 is set on 125 F which is as high as it will allow me. Very disappointed with it
, I would most likely need an s 16 or s18 to actually get HOT water at 3 Gpm and this is summer time so it's not like the weather is affecting it, the s14 is just weaker than advertised , I emailed customer service and they have not responded.

BoBc: I started looking into tankless water heaters a few years ago when I started to have problems with my tank water heater.
I replaced the thermostats and all was well but I noticed a leak and knew it was a matter of time before I would have to replace it. I found this model on Amazon and it appeared to have some good reviews and a few not so good reviews. So I took the plunge and acquired the heater. There are some facts that aren't in the description as exactly how this device works. Sure, they give you charts on water temps for different areas of the country, flow rates for the heater, ect. I live in Tennessee and right now ( November ) the cold water temperature is 53 degrees. After installing the heater I set the temp on the controller to 110 degrees, turned on the hot water faucet in the bathroom, and it barely got warm. Somewhat disappointing, I reset the temp to 120 degrees on the controller and it got slightly warmer. So I got to looking at the chart again realizing that probably the water temperature of 53 degrees was too cold for the heater to operate efficiently. The was a solution to my problem, in my case we have a small home, one bath and the...

Samantha Galvez: 4 month update- still works great! Never really noticed a difference in my electric bill like some people claim, but overall I’m still pleased with this purchase. I noticed some people saying it doesn’t last longer than 6-12 months. Hopefully that won’t be the case with mine. I will do another update around the 12th month mark to let you know how it is still working.

We can have someone in the shower, dishwasher running, and clothes washer running all at the same time with no issues. We have also had both our showers going at the same time and still had no issues with a lack of hot water. Water heats up REALLY hot if set to the highest temperature.

The best part of a tankless water heater.... we can all take showers back to back without ever running out of hot water. Not too mention, tankless is just simply more sanitary then those nasty tanks!

Hook up was simple. I went to Home Depot and they helped with everything. I used shark bite adapters which made connecting all the pipes a breeze. I was worried about getting it and not being able to install it myself, but it truly was easy.

I'm very pleased with my purchase and would...

R. Cushman: My water heater started leaking and needed to be replaced. I decided to go with a tankless water heater in order to save money in the long run. After shopping around I noticed that tank type water heaters are more expensive to begin with. The cheapest one I could find in a brick and mortar store was a thirty gallon model for $300 plus tax making it $328.50.

I went to my local Lowe's but they only had one model of tankless water heater available in store. It was a large capacity unit outside my budget. So I went with this brand after looking through several websites.

When it arrived and I opened the box I was surprised at how small it is. Installing it was not too hard. I replaced the 30 amp breaker for the old water heater with the required 60 amp breaker. Connecting it to my water lines required a trip to the hardware store for some copper pipe and adapters. You must use copper pipe of 36" or more on the intake and outtake or void the warranty. The connectors on the heater use 1/2" compression fittings. The electrical hookups are the standard three wires. Because of it's small size I now have some extra space it the little closet I had the tank...
