Melissa: When I started therapy, I was dealing with a lot of stress at work. Unfortunately, I can't change the circumstances as it's a coworker. This book has opened my eyes more to the fact that I do burn myself out for work, and I am a people pleaser, so I will do everything I can for everyone else and put myself last. It's not going to change overnight but I am going to start putting myself first in some situations because mental health is important and I will say this job has changed me in some good ways and some bad. It is hard to juggle working full time and selling stuff and cleaning houses. I also do school full time, and I think with school and work this past semester, it was a lot, and I am not sure how I managed to survive it. I did take a semester off because two in a row was too much to think of a third, and I want the summer to work on myself. Try exercising like I used to, and I have been trying to walk two miles a day. I feel like everyone should read this book. It doesn't just help in work life it also gives you ideas of how to help in your personal life. I'm actually going to read the book about "Don't sweat the small stuff about money next. I think that will help me as...

Lisa B.: A friend recommended this book. Said that it really helped him think differently at work, and his marriage (Hi wife agreed). I was constantly stressed at work, and was letting everything get to me, so figured what the heck. I read this, and am trying to implement most of the suggestions. It does really help. As a manager I will be gifting this to my employees.

Angela: Excellent book for advise. Some of it is pretty simple but not something we think of ourselves when we are 'under it.
I read it in one sitting and refer back to it now and again.
It has really helped me avoid some major gaffs and I do think a lot more cleverer in situations at work now.
The workplace is still stressful but I now feel I can prevent myself having that nervous breakdown as I have tips on avoiding it in the first place.
Thank you Richard Carlson

RuthieP: When I first bought this book (a few years ago)I read it cover to cover because each tip is so interesting, and so relevant, to anyone who struggles with all the stresses of the workplace. Since then it's resided in the bathroom. Various people dip into it's short chapters and emerge talking about them. It provides you with real, common sense, pragmatic approaches to the many situations we find ourselves in. It has no doubt contributed to my vastly-reduced work stress and a much-improved work/life balance. I've bought it for others too. Buy it today, and take note of the tips, they really work. And it's a really interesting read too!

P. Holmes: I bought this book after someone recommended his work to me. I run a company which means having to deal with many different clients at anyone time, most of which have no concept of how work is created and turned around. Because of this and the fact that we had recently undergone a restructure, the pressure and the number of clients had increased.
This book helps you restructure your day and more importantly your thinking towards clients and other collegues. This book didn't get the work done for me (unfortunately) but it did help me work more productively, give me great ideas on how to deal with clients and other members of staff and helped to not let the little things cause me stress and more often than not, anger!

Masumi: One of my coworkers recommended me this series. His recommendation was different one, but I ended up purchased this series regarding at job. This book is essencial how you handle each small stuff we face at the workplace. But these can be reflected to our daily life. Each topic the author pick is relatable. We feel stressed at any moment at job. It is how we respond to any events, not the job is making us stressful.
