Shayla Kristine: I use this for my mystery snails. It makes feeding time less messy and they know what’s happening when it comes out. They’ll start scooting along to come and eat.

After eating time is over, I can just remove the glass and clean it out for next time.

Jeff T.: I really like the look of the dish and there are no text on it. It been 2.5 days and my shrimps can't seem to find the dish in a 100 gallon tank. But the Otocinculus has no problem finding them. I bought Cholla wood, boiled it for 5 minutes and will put it next to the dish. The Cholla wood is still floating after 5 min of boiling. Any other suggestions for the shrimp to find the dish?

Leslie: I actually bought this on accident. i didnt realize i had it in the cart when i replaced my husbands flash light. i had been looking for things for shrimp to hide in. I had no idea what it was when it Came in. I didnt want to pay that much for the thing .. so i decided not to buy it. Once i realized what it was i was like well crap. I was gonna send it back but i noticed the huge mess my shrimp made and decided to try it. Actually really nice. Kept the mess in one area. Easy to vacuum. Was not cheap made. Very nice. I thought it was plastic. Its not. Here i thought a shrimp feeding dish was stupid. Its actually really handy to have. It is worth the price i think. im here to purchase another one for my other tank. Lol nice accidental buy.

JoelF: Product came in nicely packaged and in good shape. Product seems to be of decent quality as it is seamless. Though I wasn't expecting the lip to be so high my shrimp don't really like to get into it to feed. If you have a reasonably deep substrate and no plants I'm sure you could bury it slightly to make it easier.

kybeaukybeau: Judging by their size, one would think shrimps are not messy eaters but, they most definitely are... or at least mine are.

Because of their voracious eating habits, I decided to purchase a glass petri dish in order to help contain the mess. While some bits and pieces will still come out, most of it is now concentrated in one spot that I can easily siphon.

My order shipped in a small box that was filled with paper so it didn't arrived shattered or anything - I was actually impressed by the quality packaging.

Overall I'm happy with the purchase as it was both cheap and effective for its purpose.
