Visit the SUNGLIFE Store and get your own weather radio today!Amanda Dale St Pierre: We bought this radio in the case of a power outage or when hiking. It is solar powered and has an easy crank handle (follow directions) and with the crank handle it lasts about a song and a half but that's good in an emergency where you need to hear the radio and don't gave any batteries. It has a lithium battery so that should last a while but also has a back up triple A batteries too. Three options for power and it's easy to hand off a back pack for solar power. Great little gadget and worth the money.

Marissa M: The media could not be loaded. I use hand crank but didn’t use it for long seem to be like super charged, I’m gonna try to charge phone with it . It seem prefect for hiking or in case of emergency.
Small and lighter then expected definitely seem worth the money
Will update tomorrow after my hike
Will try only using solar panel and crank on my hike to see if it holds up on 3 hour hike

Marcel: I could say a lot of things about this little radio but I'll keep it short and just say that it's going to be very handy come camping time. Sound is not the best but that's not really important. Have not really tried the batteries yet but there are 3 ways to charge this thing. Crank, solar and batteries (not included.)

Pinetree Line ProductionsPinetree Line Productions: We, as a society, are so reliant on our cell phones that we often carry battery power banks with us when we are out camping, boating, hiking, enjoying the outdoors. The beauty of this radio is the fact it acts as a battery power bank charger and can charge your battery power bank or cell phone directly with it. The emergency radio/power bank will not run out of power due its ability to charge via solar but most importantly by hand crank.
Now you can charge the emergency radio via wall socket charging brick, battery bank and it does facilitate the use of three ‘aaa’ batteries as a backup but the ability of the emergency radio to be used as a battery bank in addition to a weather/am/fm radio is why I recommend this product if you’re a camper, boater, overlander, hiker, hunter, fisherman etc.
The unit is made of plastic which keeps it lightweight but is susceptible to breaking if it is dropped and you must also be careful when deploying and using the antenna.
Mother Nature dictates how we are able to move and thrive in the backcountry and when in an area without cell service this emergency radio will make a difference, not only in local weather reports but in the...

Alex Meyer: I just took this radio out into the backcounty and it worked well. I tested all the functions (beforehand) I got an 80% charge from dead for an GS8 phone then topped it up with the AAA option. The crank and solar panel works well, indicated by the green charge light. However, that is for emergency so always keep a charge regardless. I found any common near by A.M and F.M stations, but most importantly I got the National Weather Service no matter. The radio does not have the best sound quality, the reason is its low base and would drain battery so that is fine! Oh yea, there are two LED flashlights on it and one has a zoom! Not more I can say, I am going to buy some for this years Christmas gifts. Worth the price, oh yea there is an emergency call on it with a flick of a switch. Testing it my buddies dog ran away from myself. Haha, poor guy.

tiffany: I've had this item for a little over a month now and I have to say, I am very happy with this purchase. The radio is clear once you find the station, the solar panel works well I just stick it in my window, the hand crank is very easy to use, and it is nice that I can also just plug it in. I love that this is a power bank to charge my phone in case of emergency, which in Florida hurricane season has started and it gives me some security knowing that we have all of these features on hand in case of power loss. The flashlights are night and bright. The alarm is very loud, and I do not think it will have issues drawing attention if you need help. Very happy with this purchase.

Jonnie's Journey: Very handy compact emergency radio. I tested the solar and crank features and found this to be perfect for my emergency kit. The NOAA radio was a must for me. The antenna is your typical standard pull out so be careful. The flashlight life was approx 53 hours and the SOS still worked. After draining the battery I gave the crank a test and found it gave me 1:40 sec of SOS, over one hour of flashlight use, and 4 1/2 hours hours of reading light for each 60 sec crank.. The solar light not only charges in the sun but when placed on my desk under my lamp it also gave it a charge. Very handy and very price competitive.

W. Reven: An excellent emergency solar powered radio! I have been wanting to get one for a while now and this does not disappoint me at all minus just a few nit picks. I live in an area where power goes out a lot during severe weather and have been wanting to get one of those cheap plastic NOAA radio's for emergency weather broadcasts for some time now but just could not see paying 30 dollars for one of those, this does so much more for the money and even is handy/fun during my hikes/camping and mushroom hunting during the summer. Yes I know I could use a cell phone when power goes out for weather forcasts but I do not have a data plan.
First this radio can be charged by the sun with the onboard solar panel, completely drained it takes about 3 hours to fully charge and will last a very long time. The onboard battery(see my nit pick below) is 2000 MaH and can easily power the NOAA radio broadcasts(7 channels) and the AM/FM tuner, LED flashlight and built in Siren with ease! This product can also be powered by 3 triple A batteries or even charged by the built in hand crank, speaking of which will give 3-5 minutes of power to the flashlight and 5-7 minutes of power to the am/fm/NOAA...

Ivan Allen: The media could not be loaded. I find this Sunglife emergency radio a must for emergency preparedness. Its great to keep around the house or in your bag. It has solar charge, hand crank charge and also can take 3 aaa batteries. it has AM,FM and weather NOAA radio. a bright LED flashlight and SOS emergency siren with flashing light. It charges itself and can also charge your cell phone and other devices. Check out Agitater Outdoors for a full demonstration on this radio being used at camp. I give this product 5 stars and look forward to seeing some of their other products.

Belinda Cruz: Let me start by saying that I live in Puerto Rico. Ever since Hurricane María hit our island (2017), the power grid has become unstable and unreliable. During power outages that could last for hours to no end, it's great to have handy a radio and/or flashlight that can be recharged by solar power or using the crank.
