Randy: I don't know why a fridge ice maker bin wouldn't include an ice scoop. This one fit the bill and works great. The size is great for scooping ice into a cup. I'd recommend it if you need one.

AbigailAbigail: 12oz scoop is the best fit for typical home freezer cube size, one or two scoops will get you all the ice you need to fill a pint glass. The 6oz looked way too small, only getting a couple cubes at a time. Much prefer to this scoop to grabbing ice with my bare hands, and comfortable for houseguests to serve themselves.

ForeverYOUNG: I purchased this really strong, sturdy scoop to scoop out epsom salts for my tub. Works REALLY well because it's sturdy - not a thin plastic, it's thick. I love it. Could work for about anything you need a sturdy scoop for. It is clear plastic. The handle is easy to grip too. Francois Hacault: We didn't expect this scoop to be so small as only 1 other reviewer said it was tiny! It is about 3 ice cubes long including the handle. You can put 1-2 ice cubes in it, but it gets lost in the ice cube tray when you make ice with the scoop still in the tray..... functional, but ot what I expected.

CP: Our new fridge came with an ice maker in the freezer that is just a big tub so I was looking for a scoop to use so we didn't have to use our fingers. This is the perfect size to pick up a couple at a time for a nice, cold glass of whatever!
