Meredith Bethel: This is really the best scoop that I have ever bought and I have purchased many over the years. Only issue I find is the weight of it--a bit heavy. BUT, it scoops very well and is so easy to clean.

C. Sparks: Got an OXO ice cream scoop with a set. It worked well but the plating started flaking off after a few years revealing the low quality pot metal underneath and I just didn't want to deal with the flaky plating, so I got this one. It is much higher quality stainless steel and the silicone grip is nice. That said, it does not go into hard ice cream very well at all. You will need to warm it up a bit with some hot water or set the ice cream out to soften a bit.

Happycampers323: The best part is you can heat up the spoon part with hot water from the tap and dig in your ice cream easier and the handle is comfortable and the way the spoon shape also helps with scooping. Love it! Happy with the quality of it.

A. Hawley: I haven't owned an ice cream scoop in years, but you know what? A real scoop, designed for the purpose, is way better than a serving spoon. I mean, you're going to eat ice cream, and when you do, you might as well scoop it out of the carton and into a bowl like a civilized person, right? The slightly cushy handle is comfortable, and the scoop is sharp, resulting in curls of ice cream that roll into balls. A really good purchase.

purepeace: I don’t expect to ever need to buy another ice cream scoop in my lifetime.
With a house full of strong young men we seem to destroy ice cream scoops pretty regularly. This scoop is really strong, heavy and I expect it will be really durable. It slices through ice cream well and turns out a great ball of ice cream.
It costs a little more than the ice cream scoops I have purchased over the years, however it’s considerably less than the total amount I have spent all up on other scoops that failed the buff young men test. Highly recommended.

Tom: Quite simply the best ice cream scoop I've ever used. Built like a tank, solid and sturdy for even the most stubborn ice cream jobs. This is the first ice cream scoop that I've been able to use without having to thaw out the ice cream slightly first.

The front tip of the scoop is designed like a blade so that it slices through solid ice cream effortlessly. In fact, it's so sharp that you have to be careful not to slice right through the ice cream carton as well if it happens to be cardboard!

This is a serious bit of kitchen kit, and because it's sharp and relatively heavy I wouldn't let our young kids use it. But all in all, for the price, I don't think you can find a better scoop!
