G. Busher: I haven't used it yet but tried it just managing the hand action to see how the scoop operated and it seems very good. Very smooth. It's made of stainless steel and think it will serve very well. Plan to use it to scoop butter. After I have experience using this scoop I may order a larger size for ice cream. 😊

AshleyAshley: I was very indecisive choosing the best scoop primarily for meatballs. This is made of really good quality stainless steel, and the trigger grip is really smooth when you squeeze it. The handle is inscribed with German, and I always trust German engineering and products! This style of handle is great for left handed people, and some other styles have a trigger on just one side that favors a right handed person. So, this is a good neutral way that anyone can use it!

EileenC Morehead: I like my cookie scooper a lot, one challenge if you have any antheridia you may have be challenged when repeating many cookies. Very sturdy. Cleans spotless, very easy to clean. Less expensive than Stonewall Kitchen, but the quality is almost identical.
Can’t say identical because they are two different vendors. Very satisfied!

Trishcuit: For all of my many years making cookies, I used two spoons-- one for scooping, and the other for scraping. That works, of course, but it's tedious, and cookies are often uneven in size and shape.

Voila! Enter the cookie scoop! I now have both the medium and large. Using the scoop is easy peasy, and cookies come out beautifully uniform. The handle is ergonomically designed so that my hand never tires even though I have carpal tunnel in my right wrist/hand.

The scoop is high quality stainless-steel with smooth gear action in the squeeze handle. It matches the two scoops I got earlier from Pampered Chef for muffins (#20) and 2 inch cookies (#40). This #70 scoop makes 1 inch cookies, which I needed for some of my richer recipes that should be a smaller serving. I could not find the #70 scoop in any store. I am so glad I could get it here. Thank you.
