Not only will you be satisfied with the performance of our tumbling media pins, but they also make great gifts!Kelly M.: I use it primarily for cleaning brass, if you have the other equipment, wet tumbler, soap, shine detergent, etc it will come out bright ad shiny, no matter what caliber you tumble. My kids have used this to tumble rocks and it does the trick as well, cleans out the dirt and grime and eases the edges of the rocks. Make sure you get a good strainer and a release magnet if you plan on using this

Highspeed_gardenerHighspeed_gardener: Works very well. I just bought a rotary tumbler after years of tumbling with cob media. The difference is pretty amazing. For my first several batches, I wet tumbled some .223 that had already gone through my old tumbler with cob and brass polish. I added some Dawn and a bit of white vinegar with the pins. I’m saving the package of polish that comes with the pins for a future batch of range brass. I was surprised at how dirty the water was after tumbling my “clean” brass. There is as much difference between range brass and cob tumbles brass as there is between cob tumbled brass and wet tumbled brass. Not sure if it makes a difference functionally, but it sure is new looking.

Richard H.Richard H.: I've wanted to try stainless media tumbling for awhile. I've put it off simply because of the price of the equipment. I bought a 60.00 HF dual drum rock tumbler. Simply to see if this method of cleaning brass as good as everyone says. Well, this method is better than I could have imagined. I picked up the dirtiest 45acp brass I could find at the range and ran it with dawn and lemi shine for 2 hours. I could not believe the results. The guntap stainless steel pins are fantastic! I will never use corn cob or walnut media again. When the HF rock tumbler breaks I will be buying Frankford arsenal platinum. If your thinking about trying this method don't wait any longer.
Update: I’ve been using the stainless pins for several months now. They are fantastic! Purchase a media separator to make getting the pins out of cases easier. I bought the frankford arsenal media separator.

BT8850BT8850: I have used the ss pin media for the past 5 years and have not found a better way to clean brass. My initial purchase of 5lbs has lasted me this long but over time you're bound to lose some pins. I wanted to add to my cleaning ability (more pins = more brass you can clean at once in a given amount of time) so I bought this bag from Guntap and have been very pleased. They're identical to the originals that have served me well. I like the size and ease of use. .047" is perfect in my opinion because most flash holes are large enough to let one pin through but small enough to keep from getting two of these pins stuck in it. Using these pins will give you the cleanest brass available, it looks new if you do it right. Clean primer pockets, clean insides of the case, clean everything means repeatable results. I highly recommend. I cannot comment on the quality of the brass cleaner that comes with the pins as I have not used it, I primarily use Lemishine, degreaser, and dishoap. It's a very nice touch that they have included it. Also, I weighed the bag when I got it and it came in a 5.2lbs. Good buys in my book!
