Additionally, do not use the provided "dish detergent" as it will gather moisture and gum things up in your tumbler over time. Not needed, just use the steel media only.

Mitchell Tenney: Bought this to use with my rotary tumbler I bought from Harbor Freight. It is the perfect amount for both of the tumbler drums. The included polish lasted probably 20 full loads of brass and the brass came out looking better than new. The pins are small enough to clean the inside of rifle cartridges but heavy enough they sink to the bottom for easy sorting.

Thomas S.Thomas S.: OK, He is the skinny, this is the first time I ever tumbled brass so I don't know how well it was supposed to look but I was super impressed , primed pockets looked great, inside and outside looked new and I had no trouble separating bras and pins using a lyman seperator on a5 gallon bucket. Only deal, you can't use reguler screen wire to catch pins, they are too small, i poured the water and pins through a mesh wine fermenting bag to catch them. They say the smaller size is what makes them clean so good. I don't know if the pins worked or the cleaning powder that they sent with them but I couldn't be happier. Btw I used a frankford arsenal lite tumbler for little under 2 hours.

Speedbrake: These pins measure out exactly as advertised 0.047" in diameter. I ordered 2 lbs. Weighed them on arrival. 2 lbs exactly. Have tumbled over 5000 cases with them so far. Overwhelmingly positive impression of stainless steel pin tumbling. They clean the cases very well, even inside primer pockets (if yours aren't clean, give them more time). Standard ss media formula: hot water, a little Dawn liquid and some Lemi Shine. One thing I did notice was when I tumbled 30 Carbine cases, I would have 2 or 3 cases in every load where two pins would jam together inside one case. One pin was horizontal and the other pin would be vertical (parallel the case wall). No other pin jamming problems with a dozen other calibers of rifle and pistol, it was only the 30 Carbine.

devildog: Product has not let me down. Been using the same media in a tumbler for five years and it’s still holding up after thousands of brass cases. Would recommend.
